Claims

1. A method for storing telephone book entries, each consisting of a destination number of a first telecommunications terminal ( 1 ) used by a subscriber and a target name ( 6 ) assigned to him, in a directory database ( 7 , 7 ') of a second telecommunications terminal ( 2 ) or in a telecommunication system ( 3 ) connected to the second telecommunication terminal ( 2 ), characterized in that the stored telephone book entries ( 4 ) are assigned a meaning label ( 8 ) and the telephone book entries ( 4 ) depending on the respective meaning labeling ( 8 ) are sorted.

2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the meaning marking ( 8 ) is given as a function of a frequency of use of the destination number ( 5 ).

3. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the meaning marking ( 8 ) is given as a function of an input on the second telecommunications terminal ( 2 ) or the telecommunications system ( 3 ).

4. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the meaning marking ( 8 ) is given as a function of a time of the exit of a call to the destination number ( 5 ).

5. The method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the sorting of the phone book entries ( 4 ) is carried out at predetermined, in particular regular time intervals.

6. The method according to claim 1 or 4, characterized in that the sorting of the phone book entries ( 4 ) in each case after an access to the phone book database ( 7 , 7 ') is carried out.

7. The method according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least part of the phone book entries ( 4 ) of the sorted phone book database ( 7 , 7 ') on an output device, in particular a display, of the second telecommunication terminal ( 2 ) is output ,

8. The method according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a plurality of destination keys of the second telecommunications terminal ( 2 ) with the destination number ( 5 ) in accordance with the meaning label ( 8 ) are assigned.

9. Phonebook database ( 7 , 7 ') for storing phonebook entries ( 4 ), each consisting of a destination number ( 5 ) of a first telecommunications terminal ( 1 ) used by a subscriber and a destination name ( 6 ) assigned to it, characterized by
a device for assigning a meaning label ( 8 ) to each stored telephone book entry ( 4 ), and
a sorting device ( 12 ) for sorting the stored telephone book entries ( 4 ) in accordance with the meaning identification ( 8 ).

10. Phonebook database ( 7 , 7 ') according to claim 9, characterized by
a comparator ( 10 ) for comparing a selected destination number ( 5 ) with destination numbers ( 5 ) stored in the telephone directory database ( 7 , 7 '),
a counter device ( 13 ) for counting the calls determined by the comparator ( 11 ) for each stored destination number ( 5 ) and thus for determining a frequency of use of the destination number ( 5 ), which on the output side with the device for assigning the meaning identification ( 8 ) in Dependence of the determined frequency of use is connected.

15. Telecommunication system with a telephone book database according to one of claims 9 to 13, characterized by a transmitting device ( 14 ) for transmitting the sorted telephone book entries ( 4 ) to a telecommunication terminal connected to the telecommunication system.
