daß bei dem hier erläuterten Verfahren, eine Pumpe die Fixierflüssigkeit aus dem Probenbehälter saugt oder drückt und sie diesem an anderer Stelle wieder zuführt. Die Flüssigkeitsentnahme findet am oberen oder unteren Bereich des Probenbehälters statt. Es entsteht ein geschlossener Kreislauf in welchem ein Filter zur Reinigung und Fettabscheidung eingebaut ist, dadurch kann die Fixierflüssigkeit länger verwendet werden und die Umwelt wird weniger belastet.
Ein weiterer Vorteil dieses Kreislauf ist es, daß durch die Zirkulation der Fixierflüssigkeit eine gleichmäßige Wärmeverteilung statt findet und dadurch die Gewebeproben schneller und gleichmäßiger fixiert werden.
Zusätzlich wird wechselweise Über- oder Unterdruck angelegt, um die in den Proben eingeschlossenen Luftblasen zu entfernen. Auch dieses trägt zur schnelleren und gleichmäßigeren Fixierung der Proben bei.
Zum Schutze des Bedienungspersonals sowie zur Entlastung der Umwelt ist eine Absaugvorrichtung am oberen Verschlußrand des Probenbehälters eingebaut die sich automatisch beim öffnen des Verschlusses einschaltet.
