Mit dem aus der Öffnung 9 vorstehenden Abschnitt 4 kann dann das erste Abdeckelement 3 in die betreffende Gewindebohrung 2 des Hufeisens 1 eingedreht werden, wobei der Benutzer mit einer Hand den Huf des Pferdes hält und mit der anderen Hand durch Drehen der Hülse 8 bzw. des Werkzeuges 7 das Eindrehen des Abdeckelementes 3 in die Gewindebohrung 2 bewirkt. Ist ein genügend tiefes Eindrehen des Abschnittes 4 in die Gewindebohrung 2 erfolgt, kann das Eindrehwerkzeug 7 soweit zurückgezogen werden, daß nunmehr nur noch der Eingriffsabschnitt 5 des einzudrehenden Abdeckelementes in der Hülse 8 gehalten ist. Nach dem vollständigen Eindrehen des Abdeckelementes 3 wird das Werkzeug 7 vollständig abgezogen, wobei dann das nächste Abdeckelement 3 so vorbewegt wird, daß es mit seinem Abschnitt 4 aus der Öffnung 9 vorsteht. Das Vorbewegen der Abdeckelemente 3 der Hülse 8 erfolgt beispielsweise durch eine Feder. Bevorzugt bilden aber die einzelnen Abdeckelemente 3 eine Profilstange, in der diese Abdeckelemente 3 über Sollbruchstellen miteinander verbunden sind, so daß mit dem Eindrehen eines Abdeckelementes 3 in eine Gewindebohrung 2 zugleich auch der Vorschub der nachfolgenden Abdeckelemente 3 in der Hülse 8 erfolgt. Nach dem endgültigen Eindrehen eines Abdeckelementes 3 in die Gewindebohrung 2 kann dieses dann von dem nachfolgenden Abdeckelement 3 durch Trennen der Sollbruchstelle, beispielsweise durch Abbrechen, bevorzugt aber durch Abdrehen getrennt werden. Claims

1.
