Description

The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.

Diese sind in den folgenden Figuren näher erläutert: The invention presented here is an additional patent application for registration 100 29 738.2.45 for a device for a medical guidewire of a medical catheter. In the here Submitted scripture further details are defined. These are shown in more detail in the following figures explains:

Fig. 1 Längsschnitt eines erfindungsgemäßen Führungsdrahtes; Fig. 1 longitudinal section of a guide wire according to the invention;

Fig. 2 Querschnitt A-A' des erfindungsgemäßen Führungsdrahtes, Fig. 2 Cross section AA 'of the guide wire according to the invention,

In patent application 100 29 738.2.45 with additional application 101 03 698.1, various forms for medical catheters are set out that can be used in magnetic resonance imaging, guide wires not only have to have a special artifact in magnetic resonance imaging and hinder the induction of a current, but they also have to have a specific one Have compressive, tensile and torsional strength. Compressive strength here means the strength that the guidewire must have when it is compressed in the lateral direction. By tensile strength is meant the strength that the guidewire must have when it is pulled apart in the lateral direction. With a torque, torque or torque resistance is meant the strength that the wire must have when rotating one end with respect to the other end about its longitudinal axis. In order to achieve these strengths in a guidewire suitable for nuclear spin, the invention proposes the following technique:
The already known invention to create a guide wire 1 with an electrically non-conductive core 4 in the main and proximal part and a metallic core 3 in the distal part is known from the main patent applications 100 29 738.2.45 and the additional application 101 03 698.1. The required strength can be achieved by looking around the guidewire or a guidewire designed according to patent applications 100 29 738.2.45 or 101 03 698.1 with a sheath made of non-conductive plastic in which various electrically non-conductive ropes are twisted around the core , The guide wire 1 in Fig. 1 is z. B. 1.20 m long. At its distal end 2 it has a metallic core 3 which, for. B. is made of nickel titanium. This creates the artifact. In its main part, which points in the proximal direction and in this case, for. B. 1.10 m long, it has an electrically non-conductive soul, for. B. as glass fiber.

The outer sheath 6 is constructed as follows: First, thin wires 5 were stranded around a long core, which is not shown here. This stranding can be done from one or more individual ropes, typically four to eight, e.g. B. six. These ropes 5 consist of a non-electrically conductive plastic, glass fiber or carbon fiber. A plastic 6 was then extruded over such a structure. This can e.g. B. a PU (polyurethane), a PEEK, a PP (polypropylene), a PA (polyamide) or similar plastic, possibly also silicone. The core was then removed from the structure obtained in this way, and the core mentioned here was inserted from a metallic front part 3 and an electrically non-conductive part 4 . The distal end 2 was then welded, as was the proximal end, so that the core, consisting of the metallic front part and the electrically non-conductive back part, is completely closed to the outside. The stranded ropes 5 inserted here bring about the strength in the direction of pressure and tension as well as rotation. FIG. 2 again shows the same structure in cross section at location AA as shown in FIG. 1.

The soap 5 lie close to the soul. The ropes can be encased radially outward by an arbitrarily thick plastic layer, typically in the order of magnitude of the rope strength of the stranded ropes 5 . Such a guide wire typically has a diameter of 0.5 to 1.5 mm with a wall thickness of 0.1 to 1.0 mm. The stranded ropes 5 have a typical diameter of 0.05 to 0.4 mm. For strength, the soul can also have been pushed into the jacket with an adhesive. Identifier 1 Guidewire
