1. Verfahren zur Benutzungsfreischaltung einer gebühren­ pflichtigen Vorrichtung, umfassend die Schritte:

daß nach der Übertragung der Identifizierungsinformationen zwischen dem Mobilteil (1) und der Zentralstelle (2) eine Verbindung (a) aufgebaut wird,
daß das Bestehen der Verbindung (a) zwischen dem Mobilteil (1) und der Zentralstelle (2) durch die Zentralstelle (2) überwacht wird, und
daß die Freischaltung der gebührenpflichtigen Vorrichtung (3) durch die Zentralstelle für die Dauer des Bestehens der Ver­ bindung (a) zwischen dem Mobilteil (1) und der Zentralstelle (2) erfolgt und daß die Gebühren für die Benutzung der gebüh­ renpflichtigen Vorrichtung (3) durch die Zentralstelle (2) in Abhängigkeit von der Dauer des Bestehens der Verbindung (a) zwischen dem Mobilteil (1) und der Zentralstelle (2) erfaßt werden. 11. daß bei Überschreiten eines vordefinierten Grenzwerts für die Entfernung zwischen dem Mobilteil (1) und der gebührenpflich­ tigen Vorrichtung (3) automatisch die Freischaltung der ge­ bührenpflichtigen Vorrichtung (3) und die Gebührenerfassung unterbrochen wird.12. wobei die Zentralstelle (2) zur Identifizierung des Benutzers durch Auswertung der Identifizierungsinformationen (a) und zur anschließenden Übertragung eines Freischaltungssignals (b) an die Steuereinheit und zur Erfassung der bei der Benut­ zung der gebührenpflichtigen Vorrichtung (3) anfallenden Ge­ bühren ausgestaltet ist, und
wobei die Steuereinheit (4) derart ausgestaltet ist, daß die gebührenpflichtige Vorrichtung (3) bei Empfang des Freischal­ tungssignals (b) von der Zentralstelle (2) für die Benutzung durch den Benutzer freigibt.15. A system for enabling a fee-based device, comprising:

daß die gebührenpflichtige Vorrichtung (3) eine Steuereinheit (4) zum Empfang eines von der Zentralstelle (2) über eine Mo­ bilfunkverbindung (b) übertragenen Freischaltungssignals auf­ weist, wobei die Steuereinheit (4) derart ausgestaltet ist,
daß sie bei Empfang des Freischaltungssignals von der Zen­ tralstelle (2) die gebührenpflichtige Vorrichtung (3) für ei­ ne Benutzung freigibt.17. Fee-based device for use in a system according to claim 15 or 16,
