Aus letzterer ist ein wesentliches Merkmal der Erfindung zu ersehen, dass die an der Kugel 10 anliegenden Dichtflächen der Dichtelemente 11 schräg ausgebildet sind. So ergibt sich eine linienförmige Abdichtung und bei kleinsten Verformungen der Dichtelemente 11 ergeben sich schnell große Flächen zur Aufnahme großer Kräfte bzw. großer Drücke. An dem Dichtelement 11 in Fig. 5 befindet sich eine Entlastungsnut 24 und eine Schräge 25, die einen Druckaufbau hinter dem Dichtelement 11 verhindern und somit den Austritt des Dichtelementes 11 während des Schaltvorganges unmöglich machen. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Konstruktion (Fig. 5) ergibt sich auch, dass im Falle eines Brandes an dem Punkt 26 eine metallische Abdichtung zwischen Schiebehülse 12 und Kugel 10 entsteht, was auch zur Feuersicherheit des neuen Kugelhahns beiträgt.The sealing systems on the screw connection 22 , the ball 10 with the sliding sleeves 12 and on the control shaft 3 are decisive for the usability of a ball valve at high pressures and high temperatures.
