Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf in Durchfluß richtung öffnende Hochhubsicherheitsventile mit einem vom abzusichernden Druck gesteuerten Hilfsventil und einem federbelas-teten, mit dem Hauptkegel verbundenen Stufenkolben. Bei derartigen Ventilen wird erfindungsgemäß eine Verbesserung vorgeschlagen, die darin besteht, daß eine Führung des kleineren Kolbens im Gehäuse des Hauptventils den Ringraum unter dem Hubkolben Tom Ventilaustritt trennt, wobei der Druck im Ringraum vom Hilfsventil bestimmt wird. Es ergibt sich dadurch die Möglichkeit, daß Nacharbeiten am Ventilsitz ausgeführt werden können, ohne den Boden zwischen Auspuff und Hubkolbenraum herausnehmen zu müssen. Ferner können, da der zwischen Auspuff- und Hubraum befindliche Boden im Gehäuse mit dem letzteren ein Ganzes bildet, die l>eiden Zylinder für den Stufenkolben und der Ventilsitz einwandfrei in einem Arbeitsgang- bearbeitet werden.
