Die erfindungsgemäße Staffelei besitzt ein dreibeiniges Klappgestell, bestehend aus zwei Standfüßen 1, 2 und einem Stützfuß 3. Diese sind an ihrem kopfseitigen Ende gemeinsam auf einer Achse 4 drehbar gelagert. Die beiden Standfüße 1 und 2 sind in einem etwa V-förmigen Winkel einander zugeordnet. Beide Standfüße 1 und 2 schließen den Stützfuß 3 zwischen sich ein. Wegen der V-förmigen Winkelstellung der Standfüße 1, 2 sind diese an ihren kopfseitigen Enden mit einer Abflachung 5, 6 versehen, um eine plane Auflagefläche für die Flanken 7, 8 des Stützfußes 3 bereit zu stellen. Die Standfüße 1 und 2 sind mit einer Querstrebe 9 verbunden. Während die Verbindung zwischen Standfüßen 1, 2 und Stützfuß 3 durch eine Drehachse gebildet ist, ist die Querstrebe 9 mit den Standfüßen 1, 2 durch eine Starrachse 10 verbunden. Die Starrachse 10 ist eine durchgehende Gewindestange 11, die an ihren in die Standfüße 1, 2 führenden Enden je eine Hutmutter 12 trägt. Die Querstrebe 9 besitzt in Längsrichtung eine nach unten offene Nut 13, durch die die Gewindestange 11 verläuft. Die den Standfüßen 1, 2 nahen Hirnholzseiten der Querstrebe 9 besitzen jeweils eine keilförmige Abkantung 14, welche sich aus der schrägen Anordnung der Standfüße 1, 2 ergibt. Um ein Verdrehen der Strebe 9 zu vermeiden, sind auf den Hirnholzseiten der Querstrebe 9 Stahlstifte 15, 16 eingearbeitet, welche durch leichten Druck zur Arretierung führen. Durch die Keilform der Querstrebe 9 wird diese beim Zusammenschrauben nach unten gedrückt. Durch die eingenutete Gewindestange 11 entsteht hier ein Anschlag, welcher eine Fugenbildung zu den Standfüßen 1, 2 beim Anziehen der beidseitigen Hutmuttern 12 ausschließt. Durch die kraftschlüssigen, von zwei Seiten wirkenden Verbindungen, sowie dem gewählten Querschnitt des Holzes und der Gesamthöhe bzw. -breite ist eine konstruktiv besonders starke und stabile Staffelei geschaffen. Die Achse 4 am kopfseitigen Ende der Füße 1, 2, 3 ist eine Gewindestange 17, die in einer Hülse 18 gelagert und an beiden Enden in jeweils eine Hutmutter 19, 20 geführt ist. Zwischen den benachbarten Flanken der Füße 1, 2, 3 sind Distanzscheiben 21, 22 eingesetzt, die ein Reiben von Holz auf Holz verhindern. Ferner wird der Verschleiß gehemmt, sowie das Spiel zwischen Holz und Gewinde reduziert, um ein Wackeln des Stützfußes 3 auszuschließen. Die Schrägstellung, d. h. die Ausklappstellung der Staffelei wird über einen Tiefanschlag 23 sichergestellt. Dieser ist mit einem Scharnier 24 auf der Oberseite der Querstrebe 9 angeschraubt. Auf der zum Stützfuß 3 zugewandten Seite des Tiefenanschlags 23 ist ein Rundstab 25 eingearbeitet. Dieser Rundstab 25 ist mit mehreren waagrechten Querbohrungen 29 versehen. Beim Aufbau der Staffelei wird der Stützfuß 3 nach hinten gestellt, der Tiefenanschlag 23 nach unten geklappt und der Rundstab 25 in eine zu diesem axial fluchtende Bohrung 26 im Stützfuß 3 eingeschoben. Die Bohrung 26 des Stützfußes 3 ist von einer Querbohrung 27 durchsetzt, in die ein Splint 28 eingeführt wird, um die Position der Füße 1, 2,3 bzw. des Tiefenanschlags 23 zu sichern. Je nach Bedarf und gewünschter Schräge ist die entsprechende Bohrung 29 am Tiefenanschlag 23 zu wählen, um die Arretierung vorzunehmen. Die mit 30, 31 bezeichnete, seitlich des Tiefenanschlags 23 angebrachten Leisten dienen zu Arretierung des Stützfußes 3 und des Tiefenanschlags 23 nach dem Zusammenklappen. Ein sicherer Stand wird in aufgestellter Position durch die Anbringung von Gummipuffern 32, 33, 34 erreicht. Diese sind an den Boden kontaktierenden Flächen der Standfüße 1, 2 sowie des Stützfußes 3 angebracht. Bei der Höhenverstellung der Staffelei wurden in vertikaler Anordnung eine mit 35 bezeichnete Rastereinrichtung vorgesehen, die durch Bohrungen 40 in den Standfüßen 1, 2 und darin einsetzbaren Stiften 36 gebildet ist. Diese Bohrungen 40 beginnen von unten gemessen bei etwa 10 cm und gehen bis etwa 155 cm hoch. Dies erlaubt eine Rasterverstellung alle 10 cm. In diese Bohrungen 40 werden die Stifte 36 gesteckt. Darauf wird eine Profilleiste 37 gesteckt, welche das Bild trägt. Da die Profilleiste 37 mit einer Bohrung 38 auf der einen Seite sowie einem Langschlitz 39 auf der anderen Seite versehen ist, ist es möglich, die gewünschten Höhen alle mit dieser einen Profilleiste 37 abzudecken. Außerdem gewährt diese Profilleiste 37 mit einer Länge von etwa 120 cm ein sicheres Arbeiten, sowie eine schnelle Höhenverstellung durch einfachste Steckverbindungen. Im zusammengeklappten Zustand wird der Stützfuß 3 und der Tiefenanschlag 23 durch einen nicht näher dargestellten Haken miteinander verriegelt, wobei die beiden Leisten 30,31 am Tiefenanschlag den Stützfuß 3 teilweise zwischen sich einschließen.The easel according to the invention has a three-legged folding frame consisting of two feet 1 , 2 and a support leg 3 .
