Description

Verfahren zur thermischen Umformung von kohlenwasserstoffhaltigen Gasen, von gasförmigen Kohlenwasserstoffen und zur Ulvergasung Es ist ein Verfahren zur thermischen Spaltung und Umformung von kohlenwasserstoffreichen Gasen, auch von solchen, welche kohlenstoffreiche Kohlenwasserstoffe enthalten, sowie auch von gasförmigen reinen Kohlenwasserstoffen und zur Ölvergasung vorgeschlagen worden, bei dem durch Rückführung von im Prozeß gewonnenem Gas die Konzentration der Kohlenwasserstoffe auf zumindest Koksofengaskonzentration verdünnt und diese Mischung dem Spaltungs- und Umformungsprozeß unterworfen wird. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Verbesserung dieses Verfahrens und beschäftigt sich mit der thermischen Umformung von kohlenwasserstoffhaltigen Gasen, von gasförmigen Kohlenwasserstoffen und zur Ölvergasung, bei dem Wärmeaustauscher der Bauart und Betriebsart von Cowpern benutzt werden, in welchen die für die Umformung erforderliche Wärme gespeichert und durch ein, gasförmiges Trägermittel dem Prozeß zugeführt wird. Die Erfindung hat erkannt, daß bei Verwendung derartiger Cowper eine rußfreie Umformung auch so durchgeführt werden kann, daß das umzuformende Gas ganz oder teilweise von der Auf'heizung im Cowper ausgeschlossen und für sich auf Temperaturen unterhalb der Rußbildungstemperatur erhitzt sowie als Wärmeträger an Stelle des umzuformenden Gases ein kohlenwasserstofffreies Gas benutzt wird. Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren werden die Cowper vor dem Umformungsprozeß mit der Wärme beladen, die nach stöchiometrischen Berechnungen für den Umformungsprozeß einer bestimmten :Menge an Kohlenwasserstoffen erforderlich ist.
