Der geringe Durchmesser von etwa 1 mm erschwert zudem das Zurückschieben mittels Pick ing-Nadel. Der Kopf des Ergänzungsstiftes besitzt bevor zugt eine 45° Konusspitze. Die zugehörige Nut des Schlüssels hat eine entsprechende stirnseitige schaufel artige Auflaufschräge, um den Ergänzungsstift zurückzu verlagern.
