The invention relates to a composite reactor for ion exchange processes, in particular for the production of particle-free deionized water from raw water under laboratory and small-scale technical conditions.
Ion exchange reactors are usually carried out in vertical construction. The one or more tubular reaction spaces containing the ion exchange fill are terminated with a removable lid and a removable bottom. These closure parts are usually formed as a flat or curved flanges. Industrially, the ion exchangers are manufactured as individual reactors for water treatment by the mixed bed process, water softening, material recycling or Mehrreaklornn for the water desalination by the separate bed process as well as for Schadstotfelimination or material recovery from liquids. Furthermore, apparatuses are known which contain a plurality of ion exchanger reactors in series and thus form a combination of separate bed and mixed bed processes, which are mainly used for the total recovery of water.
Modern devices for the production of high purity water from drinking water or prepurified water often contain, in addition to the apparatus equipment for the ion exchange process, additional process stages in order to be able to meet the user requirements with regard to the purity of the water. These include the combinations of the ion exchanger reactors with devices for prefiltration, for layer filtration, with apparatuses for water purification by the reverse osmosis process, with UV sterilization systems and devices for ultrafine filtration. Such combination methods are realized by the series connection of individual and separately functional units for the respective process stages or sub-processes. A large application technology weight have arrangements for the production of particle-free deionized water, the individual apparatuses for ion exchange and ultrafine filtration with ultrafilters or suitable membranes have.
The construction of such arrangements of separate functional units requires rigid and / or flexible pressure conduits between the sockets of the individual apparatuses and separate brackets and fasteners therefor. The area and space requirement is considerable. Access to the individual functional elements is difficult and requires complicated operation and maintenance of such systems. The susceptibility is quite high.
The invention has the purpose to reduce the material and manufacturing costs, to limit the space requirement, to facilitate the operation and maintenance and to reduce the susceptibility to interference.
The invention had the object of developing a composite reactor for the production of particle-free deionized water, the ion exchange chamber and filter assemblies combined in itself, manages without connecting lines, brackets and fasteners, with low material 'and manufacturing costs can be produced, easily operated and maintained and has a low susceptibility to interference.
The solution to this problem includes, as a known element, a vertical reaction tube enclosed between a reactor bottom and a reactor cover.
Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen:According to the invention, it is provided:
In the reactor lid and / orlor in the reactor bottom, a filter device is arranged. The reactor cover or bottom receiving the filter device is constructed from a flange with vent hole and attached vent valve and a filter housing. The driving device consists of one another in the direction of flow! Layers of a backwater protection, a plant * gate and a support floor. Between the flange and the filter housing sealing rings are arranged. The flanges or the flange and the opposite reactor end (bottom or lid) are clamped together. The filter housing is detachably connected to the flange.
Advantageous embodiments of these features will be explained in one embodiment.
The accompanying drawing shows the longitudinal section through an inventively designed composite reactor. On the base flange 2 is seated by means of a sealing ring 4 of the intermediate flange 5. Reactor bottom 3 and intermediate flange 5 are clamped together by tie rods 6 and nuts 7 with each other , Between the edges of the reaction tube 1 and egg base flange 2 and the reactor bottom 3 are seals 8. The Zulaufstutzeii 9 in the reactor bottom 3 is closed against the filled with an ion exchange resin 10 reactor space through a nozzle bottom 1 I.
The intermediate flange 5 has at least one laterally outwardly leading vent hole 12 n ~ .it placed on the outside vent valve 13 on it by means of clamping screws 14, the filter housing 15 is screwed. In mutually facing recesses of the inner edges of the intermediate flange 5 and the filter housing 15, the filter device is used, which is superposed in the flow direction! Layers of a backflow protection 16, a plan filter 17 and a filter support floor i 8 is constructed. This results in the situation assignment that the edges of the backwater protection 16 in the recess of the intermediate flange 5 and the edges of the filter support base 18 in the recess of the filter housing 15 are. By contrast, the edge of the plan filter 17 is pressed in between the sealing rings 19, 20 of the intermediate flange 5 and of the filter housing 15. The space 22between the filter support bottom 18 and the outlet nozzle 21 in the filter housing 15 is frusto-conical.
In other versions s ; nd the Hückstausicherung 16 and the filter support base 18 fixed and permanently connected to the intermediate flange 5 or the filter housing 15. Another concept provides as a filter device before a filter cartridge, which is inserted in a holder of the intermediate flange 5. Finally, an embodiment with a reactor bottom is possible which has the same construction as the reactor cover 2, 5, 15 described above. Such a composite reactor is then equipped with two filter devices 16,17,18.
Der beschriebene Verbundreaktor besitzt folgende Wirkungsweise:The described composite reactor has the following mode of action:
The ion exchange resin 10 is composed of Kationit- and Anionitaustauscherpartikeln in approximately stoichiometric ratio of the exchange capacities and thereby acts as a mixed bed exchanger. The aufzubi irrigating water flows through the Zulautstutzen 9 through the nozzle bottom 11 hindurchtre 'nd ndnd by the ion exchange resin 10. The cations contained in the water are exchanged on the cation exchange particles for hydronium ions and the anions cn the anion exchange particles to hydroxyl ions. The resulting hydronium ions and hydroxy ions form water. Due to these parallel chemical reactions above the ion exchange ^; resin 10 a totally desalinated water won. This flows through the Rückstausichel ung 16, the plan filter 17 and the filter support bottom 18. Since plan filter 17 membrane filter with pore widths in the order of 0.2 ... 0.45mm are inserted, creates a particle-free ultrapure water, which, for example, in trace analysis, medicine and microelectronics is used for a wide variety of processes. It leaves through the outlet pipe 21 the Verbundieaktor.
