Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Entfernung von Kohlenoxysulfid aus Gasen wie z. B. Erdgas oder Kohlenvergasungsgasen. Ziel der Erfindung ist, bei der Entfernung von Kohlenoxysulfid aus Gasen, ein Verfahren mit geringem technisch-oekonomischen Aufwand vorzuschlagen. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, aus Gasen in einem einstufigen Prozess das Kohlenoxysulfid zu entfernen. Erfindungsgemaess wird die Aufgabe dadurch geloest, dass das COS-haltige Gas zusammen mit SO2 und einem Loesungsmittelgemisch aus N-Methyl-e-Caprolactam und Wasser in einem Absorptionsapparat bei Normaltemperatur gegeben wird, indem durch COS-Hydrolyse und nachfolgender Reaktion des gebildeten Schwefelwasserstoffs und Schwefeldioxid grobkristalliner Schwefel erzeugt wird.The invention relates to a process for the removal of carbon oxysulfide from gases such.
