Abstract
The invention relates to abrasive for grinding natural stone and artificial stone surfaces. The aim of the invention are abrasives that exert during the grinding process rostloesende, corrosion-preventing and / or hydrophobing effects on the natural stone or artificial stone surface. The goal is achieved by abrasives that contain in addition to an organic binder, an abrasive and possibly a mineral filler additionally rostloesende, corrosion-protective and / or hydrophobic substances. As rostloesende and Korrosionsschuetzende substances erfindaess with a rust removal solution, preferably based on phosphoric acid, sucked absorbent and swellable materials, especially Holzsaegespaene, and / or acid salts of ortho-, di- or polyphosphoric acid, preferably potassium dihydrogen phosphate used. As hydrophobing substances according to the invention metal soaps, in particular aluminum, calcium, magnesium and zinc stearate, individually or mixtures thereof, are used.
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft Schleifkörper zum Schleifen von Naturstein- und Kunststeinoberflächen. The invention relates to abrasive articles for grinding natural stone and artificial stone surfaces.
Previously known abrasive stones for natural and artificial stones consist of an inorganic binder such as magnesite, an abrasive such as silicon carbide, and a mineral filler such as slate. These abrasives have no rust-dissolving, anti-corrosive and hydrophobic properties. The opposite is the case. In the wet grinding process, magnesium chloride goes into solution and leads to increased corrosion of both metal parts of the machinery and rust-prone natural stones, such as Lusatian granodiorite. Also abrasive bodies with ceramic bond, according to TGL 29-878 (October 1970 issue), have neither a corrosion protection nor a hydrophobing effect.
The aim of the invention are grinding wheels that exert rust-loosening, anti-corrosive and / or hydrophobicizing effects on the natural stone or artificial stone surface during the grinding process.
The object of the invention is to develop abrasive articles that fulfill rostlösende, anti-corrosive and / or hydrophobing functions during the grinding process on the natural stone or artificial stone surface. According to the invention the object is achieved by preparing such abrasive articles, in addition to an organic binder, such as polyester resin, a conventional abrasive, such as silicon carbide, and a mineral filler, preferably crushed sand, flour or dust of rocks whose content of crystalline silica does not exceed 5 % By weight and which are relatively resistant to acidic de-rusting solutions, for example diabase and basalt, additionally containing rust-loosening, anti-corrosive and / or hydrophobicizing substances. As rostlösende and corrosion-protective substances according to the invention absorbent and swellable materials, preferably wood sawdust, which are impregnated with a de-rusting solution, preferably from phosphoric acid base, and / or acidic ammonium or alkali metal salts of ortho-, di- or polyphosphoric, especially potassium dihydrogen phosphate used.
As hydrophobizing substances according to the invention amine or metal soaps, preferably aluminum, calcium, magnesium and zinc stearate, individually or mixtures of these compounds are used.
If the abrasive article has no rostlösenden functions to fulfill, some of the fillers may also consist of dry, moist odensenshaltigen absorbent and swellable materials, preferably wood shavings.
