The invention relates to filter cartridges, which are hollow and unilaterally open from outside to inside loaded with dust-containing gas, are arranged individually or in rows in dust collectors or air filters and regenerated by compressed air or scavenging air.
Are known filter cartridges with mostly circular, over the length of the cartridge invariable cross-section, which flows from outside to inside of dusty gas and are cleaned by compressed air or scavenging air from adhering dust. The filter cartridges have compared to the Filterschläuchenden advantage of a shorter overall length, which does not exceed 1.20 m in many cases. Nevertheless, to accommodate as much filter surface on a cartridge, a larger diameter is often chosen in comparison with the tube and pleated the filter material. This squat design of the filter cartridge has disadvantages, especially for cleaning with compressed air. The jet of compressed air enters the cartridge at high speed and, due to the small length of the cartridge, strikes the cartridge bottom at a relatively high speed. This stagnation point flow causes a portion of the kinetic energy of the compressed air jet for the desired pressure increase in the cartridge and thus for the cleaning of the filter cartridge is lost. In addition, considerable forces act on the cartridge bottom and thus also on the filter material in the longitudinal direction. These forces and the strong turbulence of the compressed air at the cartridge bottom often lead to premature destruction of the cartridge in the cartridge bottom. Furthermore, there is a nonuniform over the cartridge height distributed cleaning of the adhering dust.
The invention has the goal to improve the service life and the cleaning effect in filter cartridges.
The object of the invention is to make filter cartridges so that a better utilization of the kinetic energy, a uniformed cleaning and a lower stress on the filter material is achieved.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that concentric with the outer shell of the filter cartridge, a conical insert is arranged, the base covers almost the entire filter cartridge bottom. It has been found that a much better cleaning effect is achieved by reducing the size of the interior of the filter cartridge and that the undesirable loading of the filter cartridge bottom is avoided by the splitting of the air jet.
As a favorable embodiment of the invention, it is proposed to choose the ratio of the height of the cone-shaped insert to the height of the filter cartridge in the range of 0.7 to 1.0 and form the lateral surface of the conical insert arched.
The invention will be explained in more detail in the following embodiments.
Figures 1 to 3 show filter cartridges (1) with possible conical fittings (2) for uniform cleaning and improved utilization of Abreinigungsenergie the compressed air jet (3), which is generated via a compressed air valve and a compressed air nozzle (4) and by means of an injector (5 ) can be strengthened. The cone-like installation (2) according to the invention is intended to cause the jet of compressed air (3) entering the cartridge at high speed not to impinge on the cartridge bottom (6) and to uselessly lose some of its energy. By the cone-like installation of the compressed air jet is split centrally and deflected in the direction of the filter material (7). Another advantage is the reduction of the internal volume of the cartridge (1) by the cone-like installation (2). A smaller internal volume achieves larger pressure increases in the cartridge during the cleaning process and thus a more intensive cleaning. Figure 1 shows a cone-like installation with straight flanks, wherein the cone ends in the cartridge. In FIGS. 2 and 3, the conical installation (2) has curved flanks. The convex flanks (Figure 2) significantly reduce the volume within the cartridge, but also significantly reduce the free cross-sections in the cartridge. The concave flanks (Figure 3) release a larger volume and larger cross-sections in the cartridge.
