Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Diazotypiematerial zur Aufzeichnung von Informationen.The invention relates to a diazotype material for recording information.
Diazotypiematerialien bestehen aus lichtempfindlichen Diazoniumkomponenten, die unzerstrahlt in der Lage sind, mit Kupplern, die sich entweder im Schichtsystem oder im Entwicklungsbad befinden, unter dem Einfluß von Basen zu farbigen Azoverbindungen zu reagieren. Anden belichteten Stellen ist keine Kupplung mehr möglich. (J. Münder in G.Haase [Ed], Wissenschaftliche Grundlagen der Reprographie, Hannover, [1975], S. 120;Diazotype materials consist of photosensitive diazonium components, which are free from radiation and are able to react with couplers, which are either in the layer system or in the development bath, under the influence of bases to form colored azo compounds. Andean exposed areas no coupling is possible. (J. Münder in G. Haase [Ed], Wissenschaftliche Grundlagen der Reprographie, Hanover, [1975], p. 120;
M.S. Dinaburg, Photosensitive Diazo Compounds, Focal Press, London — New York [1964]; R. A. Mhitarow, Usp. naucn. fotogr. 21,5, [1978]).M.S. Dinaburg, Photosensitive Diazo Compounds, Focal Press, London - New York [1964]; R. A. Mhitarov, Usp. naucn. fotogr. 21.5, [1978]).
The essential characteristic parameters of diazotype materials are photosensitivity, thermal stability, coupling speed, maximum and minimum density, gradation, spectral behavior and stability of image dyes. The photosensitivity is essentially determined by the type and concentration of the diazonium salts used. From the fact that all monosubstituted aryl diazonium salts absorb only in the ultraviolet region of light, a major disadvantage of diazo materials over the silver halide methods is the lack of sensitivity to visible light. An initial sensitivity enhancement, coupled with a bathochromic shift of the absorption maxima, is achieved by the introduction of substituents carrying lone pairs of electrons that can be conjugated with the lone pairs of the diazo group. This is most easily achieved by the introduction of a substituted amino group (DE-PS 884733). By introducing additional substituents, a further improvement of various parameters succeeds. A 3-methoxy group improves the coupling speed (DE-AS 1092767), a 3-trifluoromethyl also also the thermal stability (DE-OS 1244575). Such doubly substituted 4-NR 2 -diazonium salts are shifted up to the 430nm range in terms of their absorption maxima bathochromium. The 2-nitro-4-morpholino-5-methoxybenzendiazoniumsalz described in DE-OS 2202251, which absorbs at 471 nm in the maximum causes, caused by the 2-nitrosubstitution, at the exposed positions the construction of a yellow haze. This can be avoided by switching from the 4-NR 2 -substituted diazonium salts to the 2-substituted ones (H. Böttcher, Journal of Practical Chemistry Bd.325, S.725ff.). However, the absorption maxima are only in the range from 400 to 440 nm. Additionally introduced acceptors in the 5-position, as described in DD-WP 159730, do not influence the absorption maximum positively; the 2-piperidino-5-cyanobenzendiazonium salt absorbs at maximum at 428 nm. However, the spectral region of interest can be achieved by annealing or aromatics bridging, so pyrendiazonium salt -2 absorbs at 460 nm (US Pat. No. 3,486,900), 7-dimethylaminofluorendiazonium salt at 470 nm (Tsunoda, Nippon Gakkai Kaishi vol.29, p.27ff.). However, these multiple aromatic systems are extremely poorly soluble. Vinylogous diazonium compounds such as Coumarinyl- (DD-WP 154402) and Carbazoloylderivate (DD-WP 157940) are sensitive to the green light, but their photosensitivity is too low.
The aim of the invention is to produce copies of documents in a simple manner with blue to green light.
Erfindungsgemäß wird die Aufgabe gelöst, indem das Diazotypiematerial, bestehend aus Unterlage, Diazoniumsalz, Kuppler, Bindemittel und gegebenenfalls weiteren Zusätzen, ein- oder mehrere Diazoniumsalze der allgemeinen FormelThe known diazotype materials, which are composed of diazonium salt, couplers, stabilizer acids and other additives in the binder, do not meet the requirements of a duplication with blue to green light. It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a corresponding photosensitive diazotype material with high coupling activity, thermal stability and low tendency to tarnish. According to the invention the object is achieved by the diazotype material, consisting of base, diazonium salt, coupler, binder and optionally further additives, one or more diazonium salts of the general formula
