The invention relates to a combustible core material for a matallkeramischen composite for the production of dental prostheses, consisting of a crown and bridge framework made of a non-noble metal alloy of the basic type nickel-chromium or cobalt-chromium and a multi-layer structure with further combustible dental ceramic masses.
Metal ceramics have gained in importance in recent decades since the introduction of the vacuum combustion process. For economic reasons, but also from the point of view of material science aspects, dental bridge frameworks were developed from non-precious metal alloys, which are characterized by sufficient corrosion resistance in the oral environment, have high strength, can be processed under the conditions of a dental laboratory and can burn dental ceramic masses permanently.
According to DE-PS 1441 336 a method for producing a dental part, in particular from a metal pad and a porcelain cap is known in which the composition of the porcelain composition corresponds to conventional quartz-reinforced dental ceramic compositions and contains as the main component orthoclase feldspar. Apart from the aluminum oxide introduced with the feldspar, the porcelain mass has no further opaque components. To cover the metal framework, therefore, the porcelain mass must be applied in a relatively thick layer. DE-AS 2632871 discloses a method for producing a porcelain-coated metal crown, wherein prior to applying the porcelain coating on the metal crown, a layer of a binder, a layer of a mixture of a binder and a ceramic agent or a layer of a ceramic Material, and a layer of a mixture of a ceramic material and a porcelain vapor-deposited. The binders used are molybdenum, tantalum, niobium, a powdery mixture of nickel, chromium and aluminum or a pulverulent mixture of nickel and aluminum. The ceramic agent may consist of alumina, zirconia or a mixture of zirconia, alumina and porcelain. To produce the metal crowns cobalt-chromium, nickel-chromium, but also noble metal alloys can be used by the above methods.
The direct firing of dental ceramic materials in multiple layers based on alloys, mainly of gold, platinum and palladium as well as on the basis of a rhenium-containing alloy for making individually shaped ceramic dental prosthesis parts is described in DE-OS 1441 346. The opaque base enamel named therein constitutes a homogeneous dental ceramic mass of the following oxidic composition: 53.64% by weight SiO 2 , 18.18% by weight Al 2 O 3 , 2.98% by weight TiO 2 , 1.32% by weight. % CaO, 9.35 wt% K 2 O, 6.35 wt% Na 2, 0.136 wt% ZrO 2 , 4.76 wt% SnO 2, and 1.34 wt% B2O 3. The opaque effect of the base enamel is preferably achieved by the incorporation of SnO 2 and TiO 2 in the combustible mass.
Das Bindemittel ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es im wesentlichen aus den folgenden Bestandteilen besteht:A solution to the problem of adhesion between a non-precious metal alloy for dental restorations and porcelain via a binder according to the invention is disclosed in DE-OS 2525274. A binder is proposed which is brushed and fired in the form of a slurry so as to form the surface for bonding with the porcelain. The binder is characterized in that it consists essentially of the following constituents:
Gold powder 34-52% by weight, porcelain 13.1-30.6% by weight, zirconium oxide 4.4-8.74% by weight and the remainder of flux that is capable of reacting to form layers of tough oxides on an alloy to which porcelain adheres.
The liquid flux is intended to be a low melting flux (boric anhydride, boric oxide, sodium borate) which is soluble in a carrier such as glycerol or alcohol. By adding a thixotropic agent, the application properties of the mixture are to be improved. The binder is preferably suitable for alloys containing as main components nickel and chromium.
The porcelain, which can be applied to the binder layer according to the invention, should have a softening point of about 1 200-1400 ° C.
In the above methods are complex and complicated pretreatments of the dental casting such as application and burning of binders, mechanical attachment of Rententionen and adhesive elements, application of metal layers in a vacuum by vapor deposition or by electroplating process, chemical surface activation, eg. Etching with hydrofluoric acid or electrochemical corrosion of the surface in the dental laboratory necessary.
The object of the invention is to provide a combustible core mass on a dental casting of a non-precious metal to produce a multi-layer dental prosthesis with known dental ceramic masses, with a good long-term clinical trial and high visual-aesthetic properties.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Kernmasse für einen metallkeramischen Verbund zu entwickeln, die sehr dünn auftragbar und biokompatibel ist, eine hohe Verbundfestigkeit und Bruchfestigkeit gewährleistet, eine gute hydrolytische und chemischeThe object of the invention is to develop a core material for a metal-ceramic composite, which is very thin and biocompatible, ensures high bond strength and breaking strength, a good hydrolytic and chemical

This core mass is indicated with a mixture of distilled water / ethanol in a ratio of 2: 1 and applied in a thin creamy consistency evenly on a crown or bridge framework. After carrying out the usual in the metal ceramic process steps the fire at T = 750-960 0 C ascending under vacuum of -0.96 bar in a vacuum furnace.
Die im Tiegel erschmolzene, klar ausfließende Benetzerschmelze weist folgende chemische Zusammensetzung auf:In a system of burnable dental ceramic masses for making fixed seated crown and bridge replacement, consisting of a metallic base body based on a non-precious metal base alloy of the basic nickel-chromium or cobalt-chromium and a multilayer ceramic veneering, the core composition according to the invention forms the first layer of the veneer. The core composition consists of a homogeneous mixture of a transparent, easily flowing wetting frit with a proportion of the mixture of 45.5% by weight, of a sintered opaque component I with a proportion of the mixture of 36.4% and of a sintered opacifier component II with a Proportion of the mixture of 18.1%. The melted melt in the crucible, clearly flowing out, has the following chemical composition:
Na2O 13-14,5 Gew.-% AI2O3 10-11,5 Gew.-%Na 2 O 13-14.5% by weight Al 2 O 3 10-11.5% by weight
K2O 9-11,5 Gew.-% ZrO2 7-8Gew.-%K 2 O 9-11.5% by weight ZrO 2 7-8% by weight
CaO 0,5-1,5 Gew.-% TiO2 7-8Gew.-%CaO 0.5-1.5 wt% TiO 2 7-8 wt%
Die gesinterte Opakerkomponente I weist folgende chemische Zusammensetzung auf:The wetting frit is responsible for the runoff of redox reactions in the boundary layer area with the limited oxide layer of the non-noble metal substrate forming during the firing regime. The chemical composition of the wetting frit guarantees, despite the constituents of 7-8% by weight of TiO 2 , 7-8% by weight of ZrO 2 and 10-11.5% by weight of Al 2 O 3, a transparent outflow, a property which is important for the physicochemical effect of the core composition to achieve maximum adhesion. Furthermore, it enables a controlled viscosity behavior necessary for the intensive wetting of the non-noble metal substrate during the firing process, despite an Al 2 O 3 content of 10-11.5 wt%. With the aid of the wetting frit, a firm bond with the particles of the opacifier components is produced during the firing process, which ultimately Among other things, in a high bending strength of the core mass finds its expression. The sintered opacifier component I has the following chemical composition:

Die Opakerkomponente Il weist folgende chemische Zusammensetzung auf:The Opakerkomponente II has the following chemical composition:

Eine bevorzugte Kernmasse besteht aus folgender chemischer Zusammensetzung:The Opakerkomponente II is a less opaque, crystalline glass melt with high intrinsic strength. Among other things, it serves to form a defined surface roughness after the firing process. A preferred core mass consists of the following chemical composition:
