Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Versehen flexibler Textilgegenstaende, insbesondere von Bettwaesche, Handtuechern und dergleichen mit Kodierungen, insbesondere mit mehrstellige Zahlen und/oder Buchstaben darstellenden Strichcoden, wobei die Elemente des Codes und/oder Strichcodes von einem ins Gewebe des Textilstueckes eingebrachten Kontrastfaden gebildet werden. Durch die Erfindung werden rationell und umweltfreundliche Kodierungen erzeugt, die trotz vieler Textilreinigungen, die ueber die Nutzlebensdauer der Textilgegenstaende kontinuierlich wiederholt werden, einwandfrei decodierbar sind. Der Kontrastfaden ist druck- und hitzebestaendig, flexibel sowie elektro-optisch oder magnetisch erfassbar und kann ins Gewebe des Textilstueckes eingenaeht, eingewebt oder eingezogen werden. Die Kodierung des Textilstueckes weist somit einen stets gleichbleibenden Kontrast auf. Außerdem zeigt die Praxis, daß nach maximal 50 Koch-, Wasch- und Mangelvorgängen bzw. chemischen Vollreinigungen, wie sie z.
