Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Fahrzeugdach mit innerhalb einer Dachoeffnung angeordnetem und an deren Hinterseite aus der Dachebene nach oben ausschwenkbarem Deckel, mit einem um die Dachoeffnung verlaufenden Befestigungsrahmen fuer den Deckel sowie einer Dichtung des Spaltes zwischen dem Deckel und der Dachoeffnung. Ziel der Erfindung ist es, ein Fahrzeugdach zu schaffen, das sich durch eine verbesserte Abdichtung des ausschwenkbaren Deckels gegenueber dem Fahrgastraum auszeichnet, bei gleichzeitiger Vereinfachung der Dichtungseinheit. Dies geschieht durch eine Ueberbrueckung des Spaltes. Erreicht wird dies dadurch, dass die am Deckel u-foermig umschliessende Dichtung eine horizontale Dichtlippe aufweist, die als Fortsetzung des oberen Schenkels der Dichtung die Dachoeffnung uebergreifend unmittelbar oder mittelbar auf das Dach sich erstreckt. Dies betrifft sowohl die Lösungen, bei welchen die Dichtung zum Abdichten des Spaltes in den Befestigungsrahmen eingesetzt ist — z.B. DE-OS 3129658—,als auch diejenigen, bei denen die Dichtung am Deckel selbst und zwar den Deckelrand umschließend, angeordnet ist — z.B. DE-OS 2508487 und DE-OS 3114502—. Insbesondere bei Deckeln aus durchsichtigem oder durchscheinendem Werkstoff (z.B. Glas) ist schwierig, engere Toleranzen einzuhalten. Die Folge davon sind ungleichmäßige Spaltbreiten, die eine einwandfreie Abdichtung zusätzlich erschweren.
