Description
The invention is used for cleaning dentures.
Reinigungsmittel für Zahnprothesen sind üblicherweise tablettierte Kompositionen, bestehend aus Oxydationsmitteln, Tensiden, Phosphaten, Säuren, Komplexbildnern, Gasbildnern sowie Aromastoffen und anderen Zusätzen (DE-OS 2357720, DE-AS 2647364).Cleaning agents for dental prostheses are usually tableted compositions consisting of oxidants, surfactants, phosphates, acids, complexing agents, gas formers and flavorings and other additives (DE-OS 2357720, DE-AS 2647364).
Thus, a Gebißreinigungsmittel is known, which consists of 20 to 30 parts of a dibasic carboxylic acid having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, 15 to 20 parts of an alkali carbonate or alkaline earth carbonate, 0.5 parts of an odor, or. Flavor, 48 to 20 parts of an extender consisting of alkali chlorides, sulfates or phosphates, 5.5 to 13.5 parts hydrogen peroxide bound to certain inorganic or organic substances, 10 parts of a physiologically acceptable surfactant and 1 part of an alkaline earth metal salt long-chain, unbranched monocarboxylic acid is (DD-PS 89448).
A major disadvantage of the known cleaning products for dental prostheses is the practical requirements not fair expectant antimicrobial activity.
Another disadvantage is a complicated formulation of this tablet-shaped detergent, due to the required presence of constituents, which are intended to effect an accelerated dissolution of the tablet and the mixing of the dissolved active substances in the cleaning liquor, and the complicated mixing and production technology by this large number of substances. Another disadvantage is the still relatively long time to dissolve the tablet in the cleaning liquor.
The object of the invention is to develop a denture cleanser whose production conditions are considerably simplified and whose antimicrobial effectiveness is improved.
It was therefore the task of developing a simplified and effective formulation of cleaning and active ingredient components.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch ein Reinigungsmittel für Zahnprothesen, das Tenside, Phosphate, Hydrotropica, Oxydationsmittel sowie Aromen und andere bekannte Zusätze enthält, erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß es in Wasser gelöster FormThis object is achieved by a detergent for dentures, the surfactants, phosphates, hydrotropes, oxidants and flavors and other known additives, according to the invention solved in that it is dissolved in water form

The long-chain alkanesulfonates used preferably contain up to 10% by weight of di- and polysulfonates. Advantageously, the detergent contains as complexing agent sodium salts of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and / or maleic acid copolymers.
However, the cleaning agent may contain the individual components in a higher concentration, which are associated with advantages in handling the agent. Usually, for the purpose of application, a dilution of the cleaning agent in water in the ratio 1: 1 to 1:20. It is advantageous to select the degree of dilution so that the active oxygen content in the ready-to-use cleaning liquor is about 50 to 100 mg or 0.05 to 1.0%.
The denture cleanser is self-acting, with full cleansing power and antimicrobial action from the very beginning. A complete cleaning of the inserted into the fleet prostheses is usually for 0.5 to 6 hours, which can be achieved depending on the temperature and shorter times.
Compared with commercial means in tablet or granular form, the advantages of the detergent for dental prostheses according to the invention is that with comparable cleaning effect a significantly higher antimicrobial effectiveness is present that a different dilution and thus drug concentration can be adjusted according to individual needs and that the industrial production of simple technological conditions can be cost-effective.

In 100 parts of water, a denture cleaning product is produced.
To test the antimicrobial effectiveness worn prostheses are stored in a defined amount of water and determines the germ counts per 100 ml of water on average to 3 x 10 6 germs. Subsequently, the detergent is added to the water in such an amount that results in a dilution of 1:20. The pH of the resulting cleaning liquor is 6.3. The temperature of the cleaning liquor is 30 ° C. After a period of 1 hour, the mean germ count is less than 50. With the same test commercial detergent tablets are detected on average 10 3 to 10 4 germs.
Relatively, the same results are obtained when the antimicrobial efficacy test is performed by means of the bacteriostasis assay (Weuffen, W.u.a., Pharmacia 18 [1963] 420). The strains Escherichia coli RLD and Pseudomomas aeruginosa are completely inhibited with the cleaning agent according to the invention to a dilution of 1:40. A germ-reducing effect is detected up to a dilution in water of 1: 100.
The cleaning effect is evidenced by the percentage removal of test soils. It is in coffee, tea, adhesive powder / saliva and fat mixture (cooking fat, wheat flour, soot, oil) 98 to 100% at a dilution in water 1:20. This cleaning effect is comparable to the commercial tablets.
