Anwendungsgebiet der ErfindungField of application of the invention
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Behandlung eines staubhaltigen Abgases, insbesondere aus einem CarbidofenThe invention relates to a method for treating a dusty exhaust gas, in particular from a carbide furnace
The Carbidofenabgas is not recoverable per se and is released into the atmosphere.
For a carbide furnace today it is necessary to minimize the emissions of dust in the exhaust gas to a minimum. Only in this way is it possible to meet the existing requirements of TA-Luft and obtain regulatory approval for the operation of carbidofen.
It is known to clean the dust-containing exhaust gases from Carbidofen by means of a dry filter. The dust is deposited on special fabrics, periodically knocked off in a variety of ways and removed by means of discharge organs from the filter container. However, the dust has properties that make the transport out of the filter very difficult, such as. As the dust from Carbidofen that tends to lump, even in the dry state, occur significant malfunction. Both at the discharge organs in the dry filter and on the further transport paths of the separated dust it comes to operationally obstructive blockages.
Another difficulty of the conventional treatment of dust-containing exhaust gases, in particular of carbide furnace, lies in the high temperatures of the exhaust gases with possibly temperature peaks and constantly occurring sparking. This can damage the cloth filter.
The aim of the invention is to provide an improved method with which the previous disadvantages of the treatment of a dusty exhaust gas, in particular carbide furnace, can be eliminated.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Eigenschaften des Staubes aus Carbidofen durch eine geeignete Behandlung zu verändern, so daß ersieh ohne Schwierigkeiten an Tuchfiltern sammelt, ablösen und abtransportieren läßtThe invention has for its object to change the properties of the dust from Carbidofen by a suitable treatment so that it ersieh collects easily on cloth filters, peel and can be transported away
According to the dust-containing exhaust gas from a carbide furnace is treated in such a way that
a) die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit des heißen Abgases aus dem Carbidofen durch Strömungsquerschnittserweiterung in einem Rohrleitungsabschnitt vermindert wird,a) the flow rate of the hot exhaust gas from the carbide furnace is reduced by flow cross-sectional widening in a pipeline section,
b) in das nach a) behandelte Abgas Wasser eingedüst wird, so daß die Temperatur des Gas-Dampf-Gemisches oberhalb 11O0C bleibt,b) water is injected into the exhaust gas treated according to a), so that the temperature of the gas-vapor mixture remains above 11O 0 C,
c) die eingedüste Wassermenge in kg/h das Ein- bis Zehnfache der Staubmenge in kg/h im Abgas ist.c) the injected amount of water in kg / h is one to ten times the amount of dust in kg / h in the exhaust gas.
The exhaust gas is guided according to the invention in ascending flow direction. Preferably, the amount of water supplied is partially or completely replaced by steam, preferably superheated steam. The flow rate is at least halved according to the invention.
The advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that the properties of the thus treated dust are substantially changed. The baking tendency of the same particles against each other and on the walls of the treatment apparatus has virtually disappeared completely. The thus treated dust easily detached from the tissue of a cloth filter and can be properly conveyed by means of mechanical conveying elements.
The method is carried out in an upright apparatus, tube-like, which has at least twice the cross-section as the cross-section of the feeding exhaust pipe. The length of the supply exhaust pipe from the carbide furnace to the gas treatment apparatus should be kept as short as possible. The dust-laden hot exhaust gas enters the apparatus centrally or tangentially. During the reduction of the flow rate water is supplied to him via a nozzle system. The injection takes place in such a way that all water evaporates immediately. Do not cause agglomeration of dust particles by free water droplets. By monitoring the temperature of the exhaust gas leaving the furnace and controlled supply of water is achieved that the exhaust gas is cooled only to well above the dew point. The amount of injected water should correspond to approximately ten times the amount of dust in kg / h. If the dust content in the exhaust gas is higher once, so that the equivalent amount of water would cool the gas to below the dew point, a part of the amount of water must be replaced by steam, saturated steam or superheated steam. A dew point is to be avoided in any case.
The assured temperature reduction of the exhaust gas on the one hand causes a volume reduction by about 2 times and on the other hand allows the use of a simple inexpensive cloth filter for large amounts of exhaust gas.
The method can be used both in dusty exhaust gases from open carbide furnace with temperatures of 450-280 0 C and from closed carbide furnace with temperatures of 800-600 0 C. In the latter case, more vapor is supplied per volume of gas due to higher dust content.
The gas velocity at the entrance to the apparatus should be at 3-10m / sec. lie.
In order to ensure that all sprayed water evaporates immediately, it is recommended to adhere to an ascending flow direction and to select direct current of gas and water or water vapor. If it is ensured that no free water ι remains after the injection, also a downward flow direction could be selected.

The invention will be explained in more detail below by way of example.
The accompanying drawing shows the method according to the invention schematically and represents a variant of the method by way of example.
Dust-containing exhaust gas from a carbide furnace 2 is fed into the injection apparatus 3 via the exhaust gas line 1. The Einsprühapparat 3 has twice the diameter of the exhaust pipe 1. About the water pipe 4 and the nozzle 5 di injection of the required amount of water takes place. Due to the high gas temperature and the upward flow, immediate evaporation of the water to superheated steam. Agglomeration of dust particles by water does not occur. The gas velocity in the spraying apparatus 3 is so high that 75% of all dust particles are discharged through the conduit 6 into a dust filter 7, of freely selectable construction and equipment. The remaining 25% accumulate in the Einsprühapparat 3 and are deducted here periodically or continuously.
