Verfahren zur Herstellung von Dekorfolien mit FertigeffektProcess for the production of decorative films with finished effect
Anwendungsgebiet der ErfindungField of application of the invention
The invention relates to a process for the production of decorative films which are suitable for the coating of furniture surfaces "The films are already equipped in the course of their production with a finished or Finisheffekt so that the coated surfaces require no further treatment ·
Charakteristik der bekannten technischen LösungenCharacteristic of the known technical solutions
It is known to produce films with finished effect based on impregnated with unsaturated polyester resins, plain-colored or wood-printed specialty papers. "According to DD-PS 80 623 such papers are wet immediately after impregnation in wet coated with an unsaturated polyester paint and then for the purpose of co-curing of Impregnating resin and varnish thermally treated. A problem in the production of such films is that particularly formulated polyester coatings must be used which enable curing in the presence of atmospheric oxygen. The general advantage of polyester coatings is that they must be used as multicomponent systems, resulting in technologically unfavorable conditions.

The attempt 'more rational design of the production of polyester resin films in a modified KaIthärtungsverfahren (DD-PS 108 335 and 113 042) , in which the formation of the finish surface takes place during the curing of the wound web, generally does not lead to a satisfactory result , The foils have a matt, uneven surface effect »They are only suitable for use in undemanding consumer furniture and in the construction sector ·
Derartige Folien sind außerdem nur bedingt rollfähig«Similar lower grades, including aminoplast resin finish films, will be provided unless special procedures are provided with multi-layer applications of different resin components, e.g. according to DD-PS 149 761. Such films are also only partially rollable «
