Erfindung Insofern als Weiterentwicklung darstellt, als die bei hohem Feststoffgehalt, niedriger ViBkosität und vorzüglicher Lagerstabilität vielzähligen Variationsmöglichkeiten zwischen den in der Dispersion enthaltenen Metallsalzen breitere Wege hinsichtlich Weiterverarbeitung und damit Anwendung in der plast- und elastverarbeitenden Industrie eröffnen·Invention Insofar as a further development, as the multitude of possible variations between the metal salts contained in the dispersion with high solids content, low viscosity and excellent storage stability opens up wider possibilities with regard to further processing and thus application in the plastic and elastin processing industry.
The aforementioned advantages, however, can not escape the fact that the demands on metal salt dispersions have increased almost progressively, especially in the plastic and oil-working industry, not only in the direction of generally effective stabilizer combinations, but also with regard to specific quality criteria of the stabilizers.
While the accentuation in stabilizer combinations is mainly due to a greater range of variation with known components, namely lubricants, odor and intrinsic color of the metal salt dispersions play an important role for special applications. The dispersions prepared according to DD-B3 125 582, especially those In this respect, oxides, hydroxides, or carbonates of the periodic table of the Elements and of the Periodic Classification of the Elements can not in all cases satisfy the growing demands of the users, so that, despite all the advantages in the most favored fields of application In addition, the process itself has to be contrasted with the meanwhile significantly increased requirements in terms of energy and material economics as well as environmental protection, resulting in additional procedural problems.
Das Ziel der Erfindung besteht darin, die dem Stand der Technik anhaftenden Mängel, die sich insbesondere aus den erhöhten Anforderungen der plast- und elastverarbeitenden Industrie an Metallsalzdispersionen hinsichtlich Geruch und Eigenfarbe sowie Kombinationsmöglichkeit vor allem mitThe aim of the invention is to adhere to the state of the art inherent defects, in particular from the increased demands of the plastic and elastverarbeitenden industry of metal salt dispersions in terms of odor and intrinsic color and combination options especially with

A further object of the invention is to produce metal salt dispersions of energy and material economy more advantageously.
The object of the invention is to develop a process for the preparation of aqueous dispersions of metal compounds by changing the conditions of use of metal oxides or hydroxides and by modifying additives.
According to the invention, aqueous dispersions of metal compounds having outstanding performance properties in terms of odor and inherent color and stabilizing effect with advantageous energy and material economics are obtained when the direct conversion of oxides or hydroxides of metals of the II group of the Periodic Table of the Elements and the lead with aliphatic carboxylic acids Excess of metal oxides or hydroxides takes place. "This excess should be measured so that 0.01 to 0.1 equivalent of aliphatic carboxylic acid can be exchanged for each equivalent metal oxide or hydroxide, with 0.05 to 0.05 equivalents of aliphatic carboxylic acid have shown particularly favorable conditions *
Erfindungswesentlich ist ferner, daß die Umsetzung in Gegenwart eines Gleitmittelsystems erfolgt, welches aus Carboxylaten und gesättigten Kohlenwasserstoffen besteht und dessen Anteil an der Metallsalzdispersion 0,5 bis 10 Masseprozent, vorzugsweise 3,5 bis 7 %» betragen sollte« Selbstverständlich muß in diesem Zusammenhang auf den Einsatz bekannter oberflächenaktiver Substanzen oder bereits beschriebener technologischer Varianten verwiesen werden, wie dies beispielsweise in der Anwesenheit von Polyglykoläthern sowie in der Anwendung von /Scherkräften zum Ausdruck kommt· Als vorteilhaft hat sich ferner erwiesen, die Metalloxide bzw« -hydroxide so aufzubereiten, daß sie in feindispergierter Form Reafctionspartner sind, während die aliphatischeIt is also essential to the invention that the reaction takes place in the presence of a lubricant system which consists of carboxylates and saturated hydrocarbons and whose proportion of the metal salt dispersion should be 0.5 to 10% by mass, preferably 3.5 to 7% Reference is made to the use of known surface-active substances or already described technological variants, as is expressed, for example, in the presence of polyglycol ethers and in the use of / shear forces. It has also proved advantageous to prepare the metal oxides or hydroxides in such a way that they in finely dispersed form Reafktionspartner are, while the aliphatic
