Zur Herstellung von komplizierten Formteilen, Folien, Filmen u.a. werden unplastische Pulver mittels organischer Bindemittel zu einer plastischen Masse umgewandelt. Bekannt sind plastische Keramikmassen, deren organische Bindemittel Thermoplaste sind. Zur Herstellung von keramischen Warmspritzmassen werden darüber hinaus laut DD-PS 61980 oberflächenaktive Stoffe verwendet. Gemäß DE-AS 2251935 werden aliphatische Essigsäureester als Dispersionsmittel zur Trockenmahlung von Mineralien verwendet.
