Abstract

Description

Area, techniques

The present invention relates. a crate of cube-shaped articles adapted to accommodate a plurality of articles, such as bottles, and a blank for assembling the crate.

A common part of the basket case is the central partition, which includes a handle to lift and carry the box. The bottles are arranged in rows on either side of the partition and are often separated from each other by transverse partitions that extend from both sides of the partition central to the side walls of the crate. In this type of container, the bottles are therefore housed in individual chambers. However, these chambers are not necessary.

The problem of pin type crates is the frequent requirement for the partition to extend deep into the crate. This requirement results in increased paper consumption. The present invention should be provided with baffles that can extend relatively deep into the crate while minimizing the amount of paper required. Another requirement is a blank that can retain integrity during the folding process.

One aspect of the present invention is a blank for making a container of articles of the non-metallic type comprising a base, opposing side and end walls.

The outer handle panel 45 is adjacent to the end panel 16 and the side panel 16 The handle panel 45 is separated from the side panel 11 by a flap 44 and from the end panel 18 by a cross-section 46.
