Description
The technical solution relates to a roof insulation panel, intended primarily for use on pitched roofs.
Various designs of insulating roof panels intended for thermal insulation of loft and similar spaces are known from practice and literature.
For example. the foam shingles have a bearing surface formed on their lower parts, which on one side is terminated by a tooth and on the other side it becomes a lap surface. The tooth is connected to the saddle and lath, which covers the drainage channels. Although this solution has good insulating properties, on the other hand, it does not allow to modify the attic ceiling. At event. It is absolutely necessary to create a separate structure to modify the ceiling.
Solutions of insulating roof panels are also known which consist of a thermo-insulating sheet of foamed plastic, e.g. foamed polystyrene or foamed polyurethane and waterproofing layer in the form of an asphalt strip. Said plastic plate is provided on the surface facing the waterproofing layer with grooves arranged in raster due to the dilatation of the two different materials. However, the panel made in this way is suitable for waterproofing and thermo-insulating flat roofs, but it is not suitable for sloping roofs.
Another solution known from the literature for sloping roofs is a structure covered with roof truss panels. The thermal insulation is carried out by placing a mineral wool between the rafters and the truss between the supporting sheet and the foil insulation. The disadvantage of this roof system is that due to the material used, it is necessary to create an expensive structure which fixes the mineral wool in the roof element. In addition to this disadvantage, this system requires demanding installation with additional thermal insulation of the roof. This system does not allow direct adjustment of the ceiling on it. In addition, commonly used thermo-insulating materials require the installation of vapor barriers, which are made of laminated plastic foils and are located between the roof covering and the thermo-insulation. In case of damage, the insulation layer may be damaged.
Podstata technického řešeníThe essence of the technical solution
The aforementioned drawbacks of the prior art eliminate to a large extent the technical design of the utility model, which is especially designed for use on pitched roofs. In addition to the relatively high degree of thermal insulation, the solution according to the utility model also meets the waterproofing requirements, both proven and confirmed in tests and practice.
The essence of the new technical solution is that the roof insulation panel is designed as a complete modular component. The panel preferably consists of a I-beam fixedly connected to a layer of expanded polystyrene and further to a moisture-resistant wood-based panel, the bottom of the panel being rigidly connected to the plasterboard or gypsum board.
