Dosavadní stav technikyBackground Art

S úpravou polohy při ležení ve spánku, při cestování, případně při sezení, souvisí úprava podložení hlavy. Podložení hlavy je závislé na jejím držení a na průběhu hrudní páteře. Při nevhodném podložení je hlava, a tím i krční páteř v předklonu nebo záklonu. To je nepříznivé nejen pro krční páteř, ale i pro svaly a ostatní tkáně. Nevhodné podložení hlavy může provokovat obtíže. Pro podložení hlavy se používá polštářek o rozměrech 25 - 30 cm krát 60 - 70 cm, vysoký minimálně 6-8 cm. Výplň polštářku musí být pevná, ale současně pružná. Výše polštářku závisí na postavení hlavy vůči šíji, tj. na cervikotorakálním přechodu. Polštářky neudržují fyziologické zakřivení páteře a nezajišťují souměrné napětí měkkých tkání. Jsou rovněž známé tzv. měkké límce nafukovací nebo molitanové polštářky ve tvaru podkovy, které se používají při cestování. Polštářek se nasune na šíji a fixuje hlavu proti bočním výkyvům a hlavně otřesům. Jsou známy anatomicky tvarované polštáře, případně přípravky kopírující tvar hlavy a krční páteře. Tyto polštáře nejsou však univerzální, neboť jejich rozměry vždy neodpovídají tvaru hlavy a zakřivení páteře a nepřizpůsobí se těmto rozměrům. Polštářky ani též tzv. měkké límce nezabraňují útisku nervově cévního svazku. Nevytváří relaxační polohu, která umožňuje uvolnění již vzniklých blokád či poruch napětí v páteři. Výše uvedené polštáře, podložka, případně přípravky neodvádí tělesné teplo, a proto podporují pocení a nepohodlí při relaxaci či též spánku.Adjusting the position of the head is related to adjusting the position while lying asleep, traveling, or sitting. It does not create a relaxation position that allows the release of already formed blockages or disturbances in the spine. The above cushions, pads, or products do not dissipate body heat, and therefore promote sweating and discomfort when relaxing or sleeping.

Výše uvedené nedostatky odstraňuje polštář především pro relaxaci, léčbu a prevenci onemocnění páteře podle technického řešení, jehož podstata spočívá v tom, že je tvořena vložkou pro plnění kapalinou, na které je tepelně izolační kryt opatřený povlakem. Vložka je opatřena plnicím ventilem. Vložka je naplněna kapalinou, s výhodou vodou. Polštář podle tohoto technického řešení má výhodu v tom, že vytváří prevenci vývoje svalové nerovnováhy a přetížení vazivového aparátu páteře. Polštář především pro relaxaci, léčbu a prevenci onemocnění krční páteře podle tohoto technického řešení je tvořen vložkou 2, na které je nasunut tepelně izolační kryt 2, opatřený povlakem 1. Vložka 2 je opatřena plnicím ventilem 4. Vložka 2 může být naplněna kapalinou a pak uzavřena zatavením. Má to své výhody, že tu není nebezpečí prosakování kapaliny přes plnicí ventil 4.
