Abstract

Disclosed therein is a bear back and neck pillow. The bear back and neck pillow includes: a head supporting part for supporting the occipital region, the head supporting part having a predetermined curvature to prevent a user's head from being pulled backwards when the cervical vertebral is relaxed; a neck acupressure part for applying acupressure to the user's neck to stretch a crooked cervical vertebral and relax the neck, the neck acupressure part having a predetermined curvature; a shoulder supporting part for supporting the user's shoulders, the shoulder supporting part having a predetermined curvature; a back acupressure part for supporting and stretching the thoracic vertebrae to correct the user's bent or curved back caused by a bad posture to relax joints of bones, the back acupressure part having a predetermined curvature; and an auxiliary part for supporting the user's lumbar vertebra to keep a stable posture, the auxiliary part having a predetermined curvature. The bear back and neck pillow relax the joints of bones and muscles when the user lies on the pillow to strengthen the vertebrae, the nervous tissue and blood vessels, thereby preventing various diseases.

Description

Description BEAR BACK AND NECK PILLO

Technical Field

[1] The present invention relates to a bear back and neck pillow, and more particularly, to a bear back and neck pillow, which can correct distorted vertebral columns so as to allow a user to lead an active daily life by resting from the user's fatigue and helping the user to have a good sleep. Background Art

[2] All parts of the human body are important, and particularly, the vertebrae are parts which constitute the spinal column of the human body. However, 90% or more of the morderners get bent and curved in the vertebrae. If the above symptom becomes severe, the people may suffer from a disc or a severe disease applied to the vertebrae, and hence, may get various diseases. Most of people go to a hospital to prevent their diseases or cure severe diseases.

[3] In case of the western medical science, patients eat prepared medicines and/or undergo a surgical operation, but in case of the Oriental medical science, the patients get acupunctured and/or eat a tonic medicine. A hospital is a place to treat and cure a diseased body, but not to keep health. As the proverb says Mend the barn after the horse is stolen. , people cannot restore their bodies to their former condition once they lose their health even though they undergo medical treatment. So, people have to keep their health by themselves throughout all their life since nobody knows about other's health except themselves.

[4] 90% or more of human beings are bent in the vertebrae, and if the vertebrae-bent state is kept for a long time, the gravity is concentrated on or inclined to one part of the human body and muscles, a skeletal structure and ligaments receive a severe burden, and hence, it may cause various diseases. So, as described above, the vertebrae are very important. Above all things, the pelvis which is a foundation of the vertebrae have a great influence on the vertebrae. If the vertebrae are crooked from the normal positions due to a bad posture, the ligaments, muscles and nerves surrounding bones become swollen and the blood circulation system is stopped, so that a pain may be caused.

[5] In addition, since a human being walks erect, the vertebrae are pressed, and if pressure and stress are concentrated on one part, it may cause a disk or a vertebral disease.

[6] Typically, a user uses a pillow on a hard floor or a comfortable bed. The hard or soft pillow is high or low, and serves to support a user's head. A human being's head, neck, back and waist are connected to one vertebra which is the central axis of the body. If the user sleeps on the floor or the bed for a long time, it may be injurious to his or her body (vertebrae).

[7] Furthermore, ergonomically designed beds just provide a proper elasticity in conformity with the human body's curve line, but cannot correctly hold and support the user's bent back and curved vertebrae. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem

[8] Accordingly, the present invention has been made in an effort to solve the above- mentioned problems occurring in the prior art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a bear back and neck pillow, which can strengthen not only the vertebrae but also the nervous tissue and blood vessels by relaxing the joints of bones and muscles when a user rests his or her head on the pillow, thereby preventing various diseases.

[9] Another object of the present invention is to provide a bear back and neck pillow, which can increase immunity when the user practices Yoga or Feel a dance while using the pillow.

[10] Still another object of the present invention is to provide a bear back and neck pillow, which can hold the user's head and neck in balance and support the back (the thoracic vertebrae) in a state where the user lies on his or her back, thereby relaxing the bent back (thoracic vertebrae) and the internal organs.

[11] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an ergonomic bear back and neck pillow, which naturally surrounds the user's occipital region when the user lies on his or her back and keeps a good posture of the vertebrae so that the user's head is not pulled back when the user lies on the user's side.

[12] A further object of the present invention is to provide a bear back and neck pillow, which has a curvature formed at an area where the user's head and neck are supported, thereby providing the user with comfort since the curvature is coincided with a movement line of the head when the user moves the head while sleeping.

[13] Still further object of the present invention is to provide a bear back and neck pillow, which provides good air permeability and cushiony feeling, is easy to wash with water, and is mothproof.

[14] A further object of the present invention is to provide a bear back and neck pillow, which can keep a good body form and a balanced face form by straightening crooked vertebrae and set the mind and body at ease and maximize vitality in life by allowing the user to sleep well. Technical Solution [15] To achieve the above objects, the present invention provides a bear back and neck pillow comprising: a head supporting part for supporting the occipital region, the head supporting part having a predetermined curvature to prevent a user's head from being pulled backwards when the cervical vertebral is relaxed; a neck acupressure part for applying acupressure to the user's neck to stretch a crooked cervical vertebral and relax the neck, the neck acupressure part having a predetermined curvature; a shoulder supporting part for supporting the user's shoulders, the shoulder supporting part having a predetermined curvature; a back acupressure part for supporting and stretching the thoracic vertebrae to correct the user's bent or curved back caused by a bad posture to relax joints of bones, the back acupressure part having a predetermined curvature; and an auxiliary part for supporting the user's lumbar vertebra to keep a stable posture, the auxiliary part having a predetermined curvature.

[16] Moreover, the bear back and neck pillow further comprises auxiliary head supporting parts convexly formed at both sides of the head supporting part for preventing the user's head from being pulled backwards when the user lies on his or her side.

[17] Furthermore, the bear back and neck pillow further comprises: a first height- adjusting plate mounted below the head supporting part and the neck acupressure part and having a thickness ranging from lcm to 5cm; and a second height-adjusting plate mounted below the neck acupressure part and the auxiliary part and having a thickness ranging from lcm to 5cm.

[18] In addition, the head supporting part, the neck acupressure part, the shoulder supporting part, the back acupressure part, and the auxiliary part are made of any one selected from the group consisting of Latex, natural rubber, urethane and sponge, and have a plurality of ventilation holes.

[19] Additionally, the head supporting part, the neck acupressure part, the shoulder supporting part, the back acupressure part, and the auxiliary part are formed in a curved shape.

Advantageous Effects

[20] The bear back and neck pillow according to the present invention can strengthen not only the vertebrae but also the nervous tissue and blood vessels by relaxing the joints of bones and muscles when a user rests his or her head on the pillow, thereby preventing various diseases.

[21] Moreover, the bear back and neck pillow can increase immunity when the user practices Yoga or Feel a dance while using the pillow.

[43] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the bear back and neck pillow according to the present invention includes a head supporting part 110, auxiliary head supporting parts 112, a neck acupressure part 120, a shoulder supporting part 130, a back acupressure part 140, an auxiliary part 150, a first height- adjusting plate 200, and a second height- adjusting plate 300.

[44] The vertebrae in the back of the human body includes the cervical vertebral, the thoracic vertebrae, and the lumbar vertebra. Somebody's thoracic vertebrae rise high. That is, when a space between vertebrae is stiffened due to a stress, since it is contracted and the entire length of the vertebrae is reduced, vertebral joints which lose the position rise high. To correct the rising of the vertebral joints, the rising vertebrae must be pressed. To correct deformation of the vertebrae, ligaments and muscles around the vertebrae and the periosteum between bones must be released well. When the periosteum is released, energy enters the bones and osteocytes are revived, so that the deformed bones can be corrected. 90% and more of human beings have bent or curved vertebrae, and frequently feel uneasiness (tender points) on the neck (cervical vertebral) and the back (thoracic vertebrae) caused by a bad posture, stress, overwork and fatigue.

[45] In addition, it is preferable that the inside of the bear back and neck pillow according to the present invention is filled with one selected from the group consisting of urethane, Latex, Memory foam, sponge and pipes. Moreover, it is preferable that the inner cover of the bear back and neck pillow 100 is made of a functional material which can absorb sweat well and is processed after Nano-silver antimicrobial process, and the outer cover is made of one or more selected from charcoal, yellow earth, mugwort, buckwheat and aroma- therapy stuffs.

[46] Furthermore, the bear back and neck pillow 100 can adjust a height by selectively applying the first height-adjusting plate 200 and the second height-adjusting plate 300 and adjust a length in proportion to a user's body height by using a machine or a digital system.

[47] In a state where the user lies on his or her back, the back acupressure part 140 is located on the user's back (back line, hereinafter, called B. L), which is a position perpendicularly extending from the bust point (hereinafter, called B. P) of the breast. The back acupressure part 140 serves to support the user's back.

[48] In case of a normal person, a face in profile of the vertebrae is an S line, and the vertebrae are in a straight line when they are viewed from the front and the rear. The bear back and neck pillow 100 supports all vertebrae of the head, the cervical vertebral, the thoracic vertebrae and the lumbar vertebra, and can adjust the height through the first and second height-adjusting plates 200 and 300.

[49] The bear back and neck pillow 100 is characterized in the technology and function to support the user's head and vertebrae together.

[50] The bear back and neck pillow 100 is generally in the form of a rectangle when it is viewed from the top, and in a curved form when it is viewed from the side. The user's head, neck (cervical vertebral), back (thoracic vertebrae) and waist (lumbar vertebra) are in contact with the pillow 100 from the left. The user's B. L, which perpendicularly extends from the user's B.P, is located on the back acupressure part 140. Since stiffened vertebrae are contracted and the entire length of the vertebrae is reduced, vertebral joints, which lose the position, rise high, namely, the back is bent. The back acupressure part 140 applies acupressure to and supports the bent back (thoracic vertebrae), so that the bear back and neck pillow 100 according to the present invention can release the vertebral joints and support the vertebrae through acupressure.

[51] Due to the support of the back acupressure part 140, the shoulder supporting part 10 can stably support the user's shoulders, and the neck acupressure part 120 can apply acupressure to the user's neck (cervical vertebral) to naturally release the joint of the cervical vertebral.

[52] Furthermore, the head supporting part 110 supports the user's head to prevent the user's head from being pulled backwardly.

[53] In addition, the head supporting part 110 naturally surrounds the user's occipital region when the user lies on his or her back, and the auxiliary head supporting parts 112 convexly formed at both sides of the head supporting part 110 prevent the user's head from being leant backwards when the user lies on his or her side, whereby the user can keep a good posture of the vertebrae.

[54] Moreover, since the head supporting part 110, the neck acupressure part 120 and the shoulder supporting part 130 form a curvature, which coincides with a movement line of the head, it provides easiness when the user moves his or her head during sleeping. The reason is that when the user lies on his or her back during sleeping, his or her body is kept at the center as it is but his or her head is freely moved while forming a curved line at the right and left.

[55] The auxiliary part 150 supports the lumbar vertebra of the user's waist to keep a stable posture.

[56] The first height-adjusting plate 200 and the second height-adjusting plate 300 are formed on the bottom of the bear back and neck pillow 100, wherein the first height- adjusting plate 200 is formed at the upper part from the shoulder supporting part 130 and the second height-adjusting plate 300 is formed at the lower part from the shoulder supporting part 130. The first height- adjusting plate 200 supports the user's head and cervical vertebral, and the second height-adjusting plate 300 supports the user's thoracic vertebrae and lumbar vertebra.

[57] FIG. 4 is an exemplary view showing acupuncture points on the neck and back of the human body. Referring to FIG. 4, the bear back and neck pillow according to the present invention applies acupressure to various acupuncture points, such as GB20 (P'ungji), GV14 (Taech'u), SI15 (Ky njungsu), SI9 (Kyonjong), LI16 (Kogol), and so on, which are located on the cervical vertebral part, and BL43 (Kohwang), BL45 (Uihui), and so on, which are located on the lumbar vertebra part.

[58] The first height-adjusting plate 200 and the second height-adjusting plate 300 can adjust a thickness of the pillow 100 within a range of lcm to 5cm according to the user's convenience. The height of the pillow 100 can be adjusted by adding or pulling out the height-adjusting plates having a predetermined thickness.

[59] The bear back and neck pillow 100 is made of a high-grade functional material, such as urethane, Latex, Memory foam, sponge and soft pipes, to protect sensitive parts of the vertebrae.

[60] Additionally, the bear back and neck pillow 100 has a plurality of ventilation holes formed vertically to provide air-permeability and a cushiony feeling.

[61] Since the bear back and neck pillow 100 gradually releases ligaments and muscles by applying acupressure to the user's neck and back using the user's weight, the periosteum between bones is released. When the periosteum is released, energy enters the bones and osteocytes are revived, so that the deformed bones can be corrected, whereby the user can take a good sleep and keep a good posture in daily life.

[62] Furthermore, when the user lies on the bear back and neck pillow 100, he or she can keep a natural camel posture. The camel posture means a Yoga posture to strengthen functions of the kidney and the pancreas and train the lumbar muscles. The camel posture is of help to prevent respiratory ailments, such as asthma, pleurisy, pneumonia and cold, and is effective to cure lumbago, shoulder stiffness, and abdominal distension and to correct the vertebrae. In addition, the camel posture is the best Yoga posture to women who work on desks for a long time while bending the body, and is effective to cure chronic indigestion since it stretches jammed internal organs.

[63] Recently, scoliosis in which the waist is bent in a shape of Alphabet letter of C or S is rapidly increased. Such a disease is caused by a bad posture. To prevent and cure scoliosis, a patient must frequently take the camel posture to relax the stiff joints, muscles and ligaments and release the internal organs. The patient can easily take the camel posture by using the bear back and neck pillow 100 according to the present invention. Industrial Applicability

[64] As described above, the bear back and neck pillow according to the present invention can increase immunity when the user practices Yoga or Feel a dance while using the pillow. Furthermore, the bear back and neck pillow can hold the user's head and neck in balance and support the back (the thoracic vertebrae) in a state where the user lies on bed or floor, thereby relaxing the bent back (thoracic vertebrae) and the internal organs. In addition, the ergonomic bear back and neck pillow naturally surrounds the user's occipital region when the user lies on his or her back and keeps a good posture of the vertebrae so that the user's head is not pulled back when the user lies on his or her side.

Claims

[1] A bear back and neck pillow comprising: a head supporting part for supporting the occipital region, the head supporting part having a predetermined curvature to prevent a user's head from being pulled backwards when the cervical vertebral is relaxed; a neck acupressure part for applying acupressure to the user's neck to stretch a crooked cervical vertebral and relax the neck, the neck acupressure part having a predetermined curvature; a shoulder supporting part for supporting the user's shoulders, the shoulder supporting part having a predetermined curvature; a back acupressure part for supporting and stretching the thoracic vertebrae to correct the user's bent or curved back caused by a bad posture to relax joints of bones, the back acupressure part having a predetermined curvature; and an auxiliary part for supporting the user's lumbar vertebra to keep a stable posture, the auxiliary part having a predetermined curvature.

[2] The bear back and neck pillow according to claim 1, further comprising auxiliary head supporting parts convexly formed at both sides of the head supporting part for preventing the user's head from being pulled backwards when the user lies on his or her side.

[3] The bear back and neck pillow according to claim 1, further comprising: a first height-adjusting plate mounted below the head supporting part and the neck acupressure part and having a thickness ranging from lcm to 5cm; and a second height-adjusting plate mounted below the neck acupressure part and the auxiliary part and having a thickness ranging from lcm to 5cm.

[4] The bear back and neck pillow according to claim 1, wherein the head supporting part, the neck acupressure part, the shoulder supporting part, the back acupressure part, and the auxiliary part are made of any one selected from the group consisting of Latex, natural rubber, urethane and sponge, and have a plurality of ventilation holes.

[5] The bear back and neck pillow according to claim 1, wherein the head supporting part, the neck acupressure part, the shoulder supporting part, the back acupressure part, and the auxiliary part are formed in a curved shape.
