Car seats, especially luxury cars, are often provided with various means for the anatomical adjustment of the seats, especially for the driver. All these devices are a fixed part of the seats and in cars that do not have these devices no longer can be retrofitted, the entire seat would have to be replaced. Thus, a variety of additional armrests can be advantageously used for conventional seats to reduce driver discomfort in the lumbar landscape. Known is the support according to CZ utility model No. 1610, consisting of an inflatable cushion, in which the amount and pressure of air can be changed while driving. However, the cushion is of one piece, located behind the backrest itself in a common covering, the disadvantage being in particular the non-orthopedic shape of the inflatable part formed in one piece.

The essence of the technical solution

The aforementioned drawbacks are to a large extent eliminated by the inflatable orthopedic backrest, which is made of a rubberised textile material, the backrest being composed of several separate inflatable cushions separated from each other, which may be of unequal size. The backrest is fitted with corners * at the corners, which can be easily attached to any type of car seat or tucked into the fabric seat pocket. The unequal size of the individual headrest cushions and the possibility of inflating them with different pressures * allows the headrest to be adapted to the anatomical disposition of the driver or other passengers so that everyone can find the best position for holding the spine, thus increasing comfort especially when traveling longer.

Example of technical solution

It can be seen from Figure 1 that the support consists of three separate, individually inflated cushions 1, 2, χ. Individual pillows have an uneven width, pillow 1 is narrowest, pillow X the widest. A valve 4 is provided in each cushion. The backrest is provided with fastening straps 5 at the corners to secure the backrest to the seat.

It can be seen from Figure 2 that the backrest is provided with a rigid washer 6 which connects the three cushions 1, 2 and 3 and forms a solid base of the backrest adjacent to the seat back.

Figure 3 shows the attachment of the head restraint to the seat using the straps 5.

Industrial applicability

The inflatable orthopedic headrest according to the present technical solution is intended primarily for all types of seats of cars, buses, and possibly other means of transport. For its simplicity and easy portability it can be used for camping and other activities.

An inflatable orthopedic backrest for drivers and occupants of a vehicle, characterized in that it comprises at least two independently inflated cushions (1, 2), wherein the cushions may have an unequal width. Inflatable orthopedic head restraint according to claim 1, characterized in that the head rest is provided with a fixed washer (6) and fastening straps (5) at the corners.
