Field of technology

The technical solution relates to a screw cap with an integrated reservoir, which serves to releasably close the bottle and contains an integrated reservoir that contains liquid flavoring.

Current state of the art

Currently produced screw caps for beverage bottles known up to now have different shapes. A common type of such a cap is the one-piece screw cap. These are mostly various locking caps made of plastic. Interlocking caps are multi-piece and interlocking is done with different types of blasting bridges.

Also known are bottle caps that include a compartment for a gift or prize.

Such closures are constructed as one or two-piece. The cap usually contains a compartment that can be accessed either after unscrewing the cap or without unscrewing the cap.

To flavor drinks sold in plastic or glass bottles, various ingredients or concentrates are used, which are mixed outside the bottle and the resulting solution is filled into the bottle, which is closed with the aforementioned screw cap.

Drinks prepared in this way contain a lot of sugar and other additives that are not always beneficial to human health.

If the customer wants to prepare water flavored with e.g. lemon juice, he must purchase a separate bottle of water and a separate lemon fruit, which he must cut and squeeze into the water. For this, it needs time for preparation and subsequent cleaning, as well as kitchen tools and space for preparation.

The essence of the technical solution

The above-mentioned shortcomings are eliminated by using a screw cap with an integrated tank according to Fig. 1.

By using a screw cap with an integrated tank according to the technical solution, the customer can prepare water flavored with, for example, lemon juice, without the need to purchase individual components and without the need for kitchen preparation and subsequent cleaning.

The essence of the technical solution is a screw cap with an integrated reservoir, in which the flavoring ingredient intended to be mixed directly in the purchased bottle is separately enclosed. The customer buys flavored water, unscrews the cap, tears off the plastic or metal cap of the integrated tank and pours the contents of the tank (fresh lemon juice) into the water bottle. Then he closes the bottle and after shaking it gets a delicious drink flavored with fresh lemon juice.

An example of the implementation of a technical solution

Figures 1 to 3 show an exemplary embodiment of a screw cap with an integrated reservoir 10 according to this technical solution.

The screw cap with an integrated reservoir made of plastic according to Fig. 1 consists of a cap body 1 of different shape, the inner part of which is provided with an internal thread intended for screwing onto the external thread of the bottle neck. The upper part of the body 1 of the cap is provided with a hinged cap 2 15 of any shape, the lower part of the body 1 of the cap is provided with an integrated tank 3 of any shape and content. The contents of the integrated tank 3 are closed by a welded cap 4 made of plastic or metal.

Claims (1)

1. A screw cap with an integrated reservoir, made of plastic, characterized by the fact that it consists of a cap body (1) of any shape, the inner part of which is equipped with an internal thread intended for 5 screwing onto the external thread of the bottle neck, while the cap body (1) it is equipped with a hinged cap (2) of any shape on the upper side and an integrated tank (3) of any shape and content on the bottom, which is closed in the upper part with a cap (4) made of plastic or metal.
