Abstract

The cone crusher comprises a frame (1) to which a stator (2) is fixed; in the conical cavity (21) of the stator (2), in the main bearings (11) adjusted in the frame (1), a rotor (3) coupled to a torque source (4) is positioned. The rotor (3) is positioned in the main bearings (11) both rotatably and slidably and, for the purpose of axial displacement and fixing the position, it is coupled to a point mechanism (5) fixed to the frame (1). The rotor (3) consists of three truncated-cone-shaped segments (31, 32, 33) arranged one above the other, wherein each segment (31, 32, 33) has a different taper degree. The conical cavity (21) of the stator (2) is equidistant with the shape of the rotor (3). For the purpose of grinding, the stator (2) and the rotor (3) are equipped with cutting edges (71, 63) and grooves (8), between which the material being ground is crushed when the rotor (3) rotates. The fineness of the grinding depends on the size of the gap between the cutting edges (71, 63) and the grooves (8). This gap is set by the axial displacement of the rotor (3).
