Abstract

The invention relates to a method of distributing a working/heat-exchange liquid to two zones of a different pressure or temperature, wherein the working/heat exchange liquid in the membrane chamber (1) is brought into contact with at least one membrane (4) with negative pressure resistance and/or negative thermal resistance, which results in the working liquid flowing from the area of lower pressure on one side of the membrane (4) into the area of higher pressure on the other side of the membrane (4) without causing external work, or which results in the heat from the heat-exchange liquid flowing from the area of lower temperature on one side of the membrane (4) into the area of higher temperature on the other side of the membrane (4). The invention further relates to a device for implementing this method comprising the membrane chamber (1) filled with the working/heat exchange liquid which is divided into two portions by at least one membrane (4) with negative pressure resistance and/or negative thermal resistance.
