Abstract

The swing trainer serves to develop the ability to perceive the position of the striking area at the moment of impact. It is used together with training club no. 0, where a pupil tries to achieve clean contact, i.e. under an angle of 0°, between the striking area and the area of the flexible panel.

Almost everyone who starts playing golf makes some mistakes in their beginnings. Of course, the errors are different for individual players, they have different intensities and causes.

The biggest limits or mistakes made by golfers, which golfers make and which, in my observations, are caused by a misconception or no idea of the golf club moving during a swing, are of two types: inability to control the flight of the ball and dirty contact of the club head with the ball.

A straight shot in golf requires that at the moment of hitting the ball, the head of the club (its face) is aimed at the target and also moves directly towards the target (swing path). However, this does not always succeed and the balls do not have the expected direction. Each runway has its own name, the most famous of which are:

Draw a low, piercing blow, in which the ball first flies slightly to the right of the target and then turns back to the center, after the impact it usually has a long run.

Slice a blow that flies first to the left and then turns sharply to the right.

A fade shot, in which the ball flies slightly to the left of the goal and then turns back to the center, usually falls softly and has a short run.

Hook the trajectory of the ball's flight with a large right-left rotation markedly to the left of the intended. A blow that flies to the right or straight to the target and then turns sharply to the left.

Pull wrong shot in which the ball flies in a straight line to the left.

Pull-hook wrong shot in which the ball flies to the left and turns further to the left in an arc.

Push ejection, ejection, erroneous blow in which the ball flies in a straight line to the right.

Push-slice wrong shot, during which the ball flies to the right of the target and turns further to the right.

A slice shot that flies left or straight to the target and then turns sharply to the right with a right rotation and a long run.

These flight paths are a combination of a swing path (inside out, outside inside, straight), the angle of the striking surface to the target (closed face of the club, open face of the club) and posture (open stance, closed stance) that the novice golfer is absolutely unable to control because is just learning to perceive the plane of the striking surface.

When a student takes an open stance, we mean a situation where the shoulder joint points to the left of the target: the swing path is not correct, but is from the outside in. As a result, the player usually plays a slice or straight shot to the left of the target, which is a very common mistake.

The closed position is the opposite error, here the shoulder joint points to the right of the target and the swing path is in this case led from the inside out. As a result, he usually plays a draw or hook, but there may be a straight shot to the right of the target.

There are many ways to mark the point of impact of the ball, or to visually enlarge the area around the hole. The most common are pinned pins with stretched strings, or hoops laid on the lawn. However, this method of marking can be an obstacle in the flight trajectory of the ball, so it is not entirely suitable for teaching golf.

The essence of the technical solution

The hole marker is used for visible but unobstructed marking of the distance from the golf hole. The hole marker consists of a handle that is equipped with eyelets for using chalk,
