Abstract
Description
Oblast technikyTechnical field
The invention relates to a method of depositing metals on glass, porcelain and ceramic surfaces either on a smooth surface or on a surface treated with decorative techniques: painting, spraying, blunting with cold or baked colors.
I Dosavadní stav techniky /'BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The surface of glass, ceramics and porcelain due to their silicate structure does not allow to apply any liquid metal and its permanent connection with the surface of glass, porcelain and ceramics. To date, only techniques have been used to join glass parts for stained glass and lamps, but not for their application and decoration.
Podstata vynálezuSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
According to the invention, a copper tape of 0.12 mm thickness and a width of 2.4-8 mm is applied to the surface of glass, porcelain or ceramic, provided with an asphalt self-adhesive surface which adheres easily and precisely to the surface of glass, ceramic or porcelain and the possibility of applying liquid metal to the article. The bonded copper tape is coated with brazing water containing an aqueous solution of zinc chloride and ammonium chloride, eliminating the copper oxides on the tape surface. A molten alloy with 60% by weight of tin and 40% by weight of lead is successively applied to the tape by means of a solder tape. The metal is applied in the layer so as to achieve the desired plasticity of the surface to be applied, or it is possible to apply the metal in several layers according to the nature of the surface to be applied. At the same time, the molten metal helps to further fix the glued bottom tape, where the temperature of 170 ° C causes the asphalt self-adhesive layer on the tape to bake to the surface of glass, porcelain or ceramic. The deposited metal exhibits a silver-gloss surface which can be color treated with patinating solutions to a copper color with an aqueous solution of copper sulfate and nitric acid or black with an aqueous solution of copper sulfate, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid and selenic acid, depending on the selected coating character and color. After the above deposition operations, the product must be thoroughly washed with a warm water solution containing anionic surfactant to remove residual solder water and patinating solutions and the product is dried. Finally, the metal coating is coated with an antioxidant oil, for example an oil silicone emulsion, which prevents the metal surface of the coating from becoming confused and provides a permanent metallic gloss after drying.
The advantage of the solution according to the invention is the possibility to decorate the surface of glass, porcelain or ceramic with the applied liquid metal, which normally does not hold the metal on the glass surface.
Příklady provedení vynálezu (( EXAMPLES OF THE INVENTION ( (
On the surface of the glass plate, a base metal mesh was drawn and a thin copper tape provided with an asphalt adhesive surface that adheres easily and precisely to the product surface and forms the basis for the coating character. Adhesive copper tape was needed by soldering water to eliminate copper oxides on the tape surface. A molten alloy with 60% by weight of tin and 40% by weight of lead was successively applied to the strip by soldering solder. At the same time, the molten metal at the same time helps to further fix the glued bottom strip, where the temperature of 170 ° C causes the asphalt self-adhesive layer on the strip to bake to the surface of the glass plate. The deposited metal exhibits a silver-gloss surface which can be colored with copper or black patinating solutions in conjunction with the selected coating character and product color.
