Abstract
Description
Oblast technikyTechnical field
Systém upravuje povrch těchto výrobků, je zdravotně nezávadný a vedle dekorativního a ochranného účinku omezuje průnik plynných škodlivých látek, zejména formaldehydu. Systém lze použít i pro povrchovou úpravu jiných materiálů, např. kovů a plastů.The invention relates in particular to a coating system for furniture, wall coverings, floors, ceilings and other wood and veneered, non-veneered and laminated wood-based materials, such as fibreboard, particle board and the like, and paper. The system modifies the surface of these products, is harmless to health and, in addition to the decorative and protective effect, limits the penetration of gaseous pollutants, especially formaldehyde. The system can also be used to coat other materials such as metals and plastics.
Until now, solvent-based lacquers, such as nitrocellulose, acid-curable, epoxy, polyurethane, polyester, etc., or combination systems have been used for surface treatment of wood and agglomerated materials. Nitrocellulose paints are one of the most widespread materials for wood surface treatment. However, they contain a large amount of volatile organic solvents and their processing presents a considerable risk of fire. The so-called synthetic paints based on alkyd and epoxy resins also contain a certain amount of solvents. However, they require a longer drying time and cause yellowing of the wood (Goldschmidt A. et al .: Glasurit - Handbuch Lacke und Farben, Vincentz Verlag Hanover 1984, ev. Pat. 397 484, ev. Pat. 407 796). As so-called solvent-free varnishes, unsaturated polyester resin varnishes cured either with peroxide initiators with cobalt accelerators or with UV radiation from mercury vapor lamps are used for the surface treatment of wood, in particular veneered particle board (Vachl, Chalupa: Wood 44 (4), p. 102, 1989; Kremer W., Farbe und Lack 94 (3), p. 205 (1989)). These lacquers contain volatile, polymerizable substances, most often styrene, as diluents. The use of polyurethane coatings for furniture finishing is described by Riberi®. H .: Amer. J. 74 (37), 36 (1990). These are two-component lacquers with a limited pot life. A combined UV-cured nitrocellulose-polyurethane system is described in eR. U.S. Pat. 183 461. Until now, solvent paints based on acrylic copolymer solutions have also been relatively widespread. AO 262 495. Due to the content of volatile organic solvents, their use is ecologically inadequate. Substantially more preferred are water-based paints based on acrylate dispersions, e.g. AO 274 806. The properties of the water-based acrylic copolymer-based paints are largely influenced by the structure of the copolymers due to the composition of the initial monomer mixture. However, coating films of conventional types of these coatings are not able to effectively prevent the penetration of harmful substances from the substrate.
Podstata vynálezuSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Uvedené nedostatky řeší předložený vynález, jehož předmětem je zdravotně nezávadný vodou ředitelný nátěrový systém, vhodný zejména k vytváření povlaků s bariérovým efektem vůči úniku[0007] The above-mentioned drawbacks are solved by the present invention, the object of which is a water-borne coating system suitable, in particular, for the formation of coatings with a barrier effect against leakage.
-1CZ 278247 B6 plynných škodlivin z podkladu. Podstata vynálezu spočívá v tom, že systém sestává ze 20 až 80 hmot, dílů směsi dvou 40 až 55% vodných polymerních disperzí ve hmot, poměru 1 : 3 až 3 : 1, z nichž jedna disperze obsahuje kopolymer připravený ze 40 až 62 % hmot, methylmethakrylátu, 32 až 55 % hmot, n-butylakrylátu, 0,1 až 2 % hmot, meťhakrylamidu a 1 až 4 % hmot, kyseliny akrylové a/nebo methakrylové. Druhá disperze obsahuje kopolymer připravený ze 30 až 70 % hmot, methylmethakrylátu, 30 až 70 % hmot, n-butylmethakrylátu a 1 až 6 % hmot, kyseliny akrylové a/nebo methakrylové. Nátěrový systém dále obsahuje 3 až 15 hmot, dílů aditiv ze skupiny zahrnující odpěňovače, koalescentní látky,, konzervační a biocidní prostředky, korozní inhibitory, látky ovlivňující rheologické vlastnosti, UV stabilizátory a povrchově aktivní látky, 2 až 80 hmot, dílů vody a případně až 40 hmot, dílů přísad ze skupiny zahrnující, matovací prostředky, vosky, pigmenty, barviva a plniva a až 1,2 hmot, dílů bázických aditiv, upravujících pH.*-1GB 278247 B6 gaseous pollutants from the substrate. The system consists of 20 to 80 parts by weight of a mixture of two 40 to 55% by weight aqueous polymer dispersions in a ratio of 1: 3 to 3: 1, one of which contains a copolymer prepared from 40 to 62% by weight. methyl methacrylate, 32 to 55% by weight, n-butyl acrylate, 0.1 to 2% by weight, methacrylamide and 1 to 4% by weight, acrylic acid and / or methacrylic acid. The second dispersion comprises a copolymer prepared from 30 to 70% by weight, methyl methacrylate, 30 to 70% by weight, n-butyl methacrylate and 1 to 6% by weight, acrylic acid and / or methacrylic acid. The coating system further comprises from 3 to 15 parts by weight, of additives from the group comprising defoamers, coalescing agents, preservatives and biocides, corrosion inhibitors, agents affecting rheological properties, UV stabilizers and surfactants, 2 to 80 parts by weight of water and optionally up to 40 parts by weight, parts of additives from the group comprising, matting agents, waxes, pigments, dyes and fillers, and up to 1.2 parts by weight, parts of basic pH adjusting additives.
Přídavek korozního inhibitoru se příznivě projevuje v zábraně okamžité koroze případně přítomných nechráněných kovových částí upravované plochy během nánosu a zasychání nátěru. Mírně tixotropní charakter nátěrové hmoty umožňuje dosáhnout rovnoměrného nánosu i na svislých plochách. Aplikací tohoto systému se podstatnou měrou zlepšuje pracovní prostředí a snižuje riziko vzniku požáru.The coating system of the present invention produces continuous, hard, glossy or matt coatings with very good mechanical properties. The coatings are physiologically safe and have a significant barrier effect for the escape of formaldehyde and other volatile substances from the substrate. Other advantages of the system are very good adhesion to all substrates including solvent-based paint films, overcoating with all common solvent and water-based paints, excellent abrasion resistance, easy sanding of the first coat after a relatively short drying time and the possibility of applying another coat after a very short drying time of the previous coat. The addition of the corrosion inhibitor is beneficial in preventing the immediate corrosion of any unprotected metal parts of the treated surface during application and coating drying. The slightly thixotropic character of the paint allows for uniform application even on vertical surfaces. The application of this system significantly improves the working environment and reduces the risk of fire.
The coating film is applied by brush, roller, pouring, spraying or dipping with a break of between 1 to 3 hours depending on the ambient temperature, the substrate and the relative air humidity. The higher the ambient and substrate temperatures and the lower the relative humidity, the faster the paint dries. Prior to the first coating, it is expedient to free the treated surface from grease and mechanical impurities. After application, it is advisable to sand the dried coat with fine sandpaper, which easily removes the raised wood fiber and the next layer to achieve a perfect surface treatment of the substrate.
The coating system is designed especially for surface treatment of wood products and agglomerated veneered, non-veneered and laminated wood-based materials such as particleboard, fibreboard, sawdust and shingle boards, plywood, blockboard, etc., used in the form of wall and ceiling cladding, parquet, moldings, furniture parts, etc.
