Doteraiší stav technikyBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
V súčasnosti známe duté sklené mikrogulóčky a používané postupy ich výroby sa podlá spósobu vytvárania dutinky v podstatě móžu rozdělit do troch základných skupin. The presently known hollow glass microspheres and the processes used to manufacture them can basically be divided into three basic groups according to the method of forming the hollow. The first group comprises processes using elevated temperature decomposition compounds, the so-called blowing agents, the second group utilizes the residual gas content in the glass after it has been melted, and finally the third group comprises processes for forming hollow microspheres from molten glass using gas pressure supplied by nozzles or other similar devices. According to the initial state of the base material, they can be divided into two groups, starting from solutions and from the solid phase.
Roztok sa v prvej fáze vysuší v rozprašovacej sušiarni a roztriedený suchý poloprodukt sa vnáša v prúde plynu do horáka s teplotou plameňa nad 1000 °C, kde dochádza k prehriatiu materiálu, rozkladu močoviny a následnému vytvarovaniu plastického materiálu do tvaru dutých mikrosfér. Tieto sa potom zachytávájú vo filtroch a následné podrobujú povrchovéj úpravě. Povrchová úprava pozostáva v podstatě z dvoch základných krokov a to dezalkalizácie křemičitého povrchu a samotného pósobenia organokremičitej zlúčeniny. For example, French Patent No. 2563825 describes a process for preparing hollow microspheres from an aqueous solution based on sodium silicate and urea as blowing agents. The solution is first dried in a spray drier and the screened dry semi-product is introduced in a gas stream into a burner with a flame temperature above 1000 ° C, where the material is overheated, the urea decomposes and the plastic material is formed into hollow microspheres. These are then collected in filters and subsequently subjected to a surface treatment. The surface treatment consists essentially of two basic steps, namely the desalkalization of the silica surface and the action of the organosilicon compound itself.
A similar procedure is described in U.S. Pat. Nos. 3699050, 4257799, 3794503, 3796777 and 3888957, which also uses an alkali silicate solution with the addition of other glass-forming oxides, which is sprayed into a heated zone having a precise temperature profile and where to form hollow glass microspheres.
A similar procedure is used and protected by European Patent No. 0091555, which also uses an alkali silicate solution with the addition of a polysalt such as ammonium pentaborate or sodium hexametaphosphate. The surface of the hollow microspheres is modified with organosilicon compounds to improve their chemical stability and utility properties.
Další USA patent č. 3838998 chrání postup přípravy dutých mikrosfér založený na príprave brečky zo skla a přídavku taviv (napr. sody) a jej přetavovaní vo vznose pri vysokéj teplote.Another U.S. Pat. No. 3,838,998 protects a process for preparing hollow microspheres based on the preparation of a glass slurry and the addition of fluxes (e.g., soda) and its remelting in a high temperature hover.
Anglický patent č. 1498427 zas popisuje postup speňovania sklenej frity vo vysokéj teplote pomocou močoviny.English Patent No. 1498427, in turn, describes a process for foaming a glass frit at high temperature using urea.
Okrem skla ako takého je v USA patente č. 3752685 popísaňý postup výroby dutých mikročástic z pemzy jej zahrievaním pri teplote 850 až 1200 °C.In addition to glass as such, U.S. Pat. No. 3,752,685 describes a process for making hollow microparticles from pumice by heating it at a temperature of 850 to 1200 ° C.
Patent Nos. 4303431 and 4303433 disclose processes for making hollow glass particles from molten glass that is blown through nozzles by pulsating pressure.
The disadvantages of the above methods of glass microsphere production are high energy demands in the case of a two-stage glass frit process: due to milling and sorting of solid glass matrix, the use of high temperatures in particle molding and melt blowing and manufacturing complexities and technological demands . The two-step production based on the preparation of the semi-product from the liquid state and the subsequent use of high forming temperatures is also associated with high energy consumption.
