Abstract
Μία συσκευή μετατροπέα ενέργειας κυμάτων που περιλαμβάνει τουλάχιστον δύο μέλη (1, 2) αμοιβαία συνδεδεμένα με μέσο σύνδεσης (4) με δυνατότητα κίνησης για να επιτρέπεται η αμοιβαία μετατόπιση των μελών (1,2) σε απόκριση προς τα κύματα στα νερά όπου είναι τοποθετημένη η συσκευή, περιλαμβάνουσα περαιτέρω η συσκευή μέσο μετατροπής ενέργειας (6) για μετατροπή της κίνησης του μέσου σύνδεσης (4) σε ηλεκτρική ενέργεια, και μέσο για αποθήκευση και/ή μεταφορά αλλού της παραγόμενης ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας, χαρακτηριζόμενη η συσκευή από το ότι τα μέλη (1,2) είναι μη επιπλέοντα, πλήρως υποβρύχια μέλη που κάνουν την συσκευή, λαμβανόμενη ως σύνολο, ουδέτερης άνωσης, προσφερόμενο το μέσο για να διατηρείται σε θέση κάθε ένα των εν λόγω υποβρύχιων μελών πρακτικά σε ισορροπία σχετικά με το περιβάλλον νερό με το οποίο αυτά είναι σε άμεση επαφή, έτσι ώστε τα μέλη (1,2) να κινούνται υπό την επενέργεια των κυμάτων πρακτικά κατά τον ίδιο τρόπο όπως ένα αδιατάρακτο μόριο νερού ευρισκόμενο στην ίδια περιοχή, ευρισκόμενα τα τουλάχιστον δύο υποβρύχια μέλη (1,2) σε αμοιβαία απόσταση με την βοήθεια του μέσου σύνδεσης (4) έτσι ώστε να θεωρείται ότι οι αντίστοιχες θέσεις επηρεάζονται διαφορετικά από την κίνηση του νερού που επάγεται από τα κύματα.
