Abstract
Η εφεύρεση περιγράφει μία μέθοδο καθαρισμού αλουμίνας που είναι ιδιαιτέρως κατάλληλη για απομάκρυνση φθοριδίου από αλουμίνα και περιλαμβάνει έκπλυση της εν λόγω αλουμίνας με υδατικό οξύ ή άλκαλι σε αυξημένη θερμοκρασία. Η μέθοδος μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για απομάκρυνση μη αντιδράσαντος ραδιοφθοριδίου όπως [18F] φθοριδίου από αλουμίνα μετά από μία αντίδραση ραδιοφθορίωσης.
