Abstract
Procedimiento hidrometalúrgico para el tratamiento de matas de níquel. Procedimiento hidrometalúrgico para el tratamiento de matas de níquel, caracterizado porque comprende, sucesivamente, las etapas de: a) atacar a la mata en estado fraccionado por cloro en medio acuoso en presencia de una mezcla de cloruro ferroso y férrico; b) eliminar, por lo menos parcial, el hierro que está contenido en la solución obtenida en la etapa a) precedente, realizándose esta eliminación poniendo en contacto la mencionada solución con una fase orgánica de intercambio líquido-líquido; c) eluir la mencionada fase orgánica de intercambio líquido-líquido poniéndola en contacto con una primera fase acuosa de regeneración; d) eliminar otros metales diferentes al níquel, contenido en la solución resultante de la etapa b) de eliminación del hierro; y e) electrolizar la solución surgida en la etapa d) precedente, con depósito de níquel puro en el cátodo.Hydrometallurgical procedure for the treatment of nickel mattes. Hydrometallurgical process for the treatment of nickel mattes, characterized in that it comprises, successively, the steps of: a) attacking the matte in a fractionated state by chlorine in an aqueous medium in the presence of a mixture of ferrous and ferric chloride; b) eliminating, at least partially, the iron that is contained in the solution obtained in step a) above, this elimination being carried out by contacting said solution with an organic liquid-liquid exchange phase; c) eluting said organic liquid-liquid exchange phase by contacting it with a first aqueous regeneration phase; d) remove other metals other than nickel, contained in the solution resulting from step b) of iron removal; and e) electrolyzing the solution emerged in the preceding step d), with deposit of pure nickel on the cathode.
