Abstract

1. Safety blow-off valve for steam which contains a body (1) with a steam inlet branch (4), steam outlet branch (5) and a valve seat which is sealed off by a sealing disk (7) to which flow is admitted against the closing force and which is connected with an axially movable stem (8), characterized in that the sealing disk (7) is connected on the side towards the steam inlet branch (4) with a perforated plug (9) and on the side away from the stream inlet branch with a perforated cage (12) which are designed as hollow cylinders and provided with ports (10, 13) distributed over the circumference at several levels arranged one above the other and that the perforated cage (12) has a closed-wall section (14) above the ports (13) and surrounds a guide piece (15) to seal it off which is joined to a spray water connection.
