Abstract

A multiple-circuit protective valve assembly comprises a plurality of identical overflow valves, each provided with a valve closure member 25 which is pressed by means of a valve spring 24 against a valve seat 29. Restrictions 38 which are formed between a wall of a cylindrical bore 33 and a tulip-shaped insert 34, are arranged upstream of the closure member. The insert which is separate from the valve closure member and is guided in the bore 33, follows the closure member 25 during opening of the valve under the force of inlet fluid pressure. If required, non-return valves 27 are also arranged upstream of the restrictions. <IMAGE>
