Abstract

The solution concerns a method of production of plano-convex lenses, which consists in the fact that a mixture of monomers with polymer catalyser, like for example diisopropylpercarbonate or benzoinethylether, is applied on a bearing plate with a horizontal planar surface, delimited by a circular edge. Then this mixture is polymerised and when the polymerization is terminated the lens is separated from the bearing plate.
