Abstract

The rest electromagnetic brake can be used especially with electromotors for the drive of machine-tools and manipulators. It consists of the end shield (1) with an outer pole ring and inner pole ring, which are joined by the carrier of armature (2) through the air space (3). Its gist concerns the fact that a nut (11) is screwed on the shaft (4) of the electromotor, while the first spring (12) leans against the nut (11). The other end of first spring (12) leans against one face (21) of the carrier of armature (2) and its second face (22) is joined by a spring (10), whose remote end leans against the shoulder (13) of the shaft (4).<IMAGE>
