Abstract

The object of the invention consists in the creation of an economical manufacturing technology and this object has been achieved in such a way that the discretely encapsulated transmitter and receiver components are located opposite one another in a radially spring-loaded sleeve made of glass, plastic, ceramics or preferably metal, the latter having the shape of a wound spiral spring with no space between the coils with its ends overlapping. The inside of the sleeve is a reflective metal surface. The disposition of the radially spring-loaded sleeve around the discrete components guarantees a substantial increase in the coupling factor and reduces the overall assembly cost to the insertion of the discrete components into the sleeve and the subsequent enclosure.
