(57) The solution concerns special analytical methods and serves to extract trace concentrations of organic substances dissolved in water for subsequent analysis by chromatographic methods. The extractor thin film separation apparatus is connected to an extraction vessel and is comprised of a tubular gullet-expanded tube phase separator which is vertically terminated by a calibrated tube and to which a lateral drug-terminated tube extends into the extraction vessel neck below the extractor layer. Extracted or inert liquid after being added to the extraction vessel through an obliquely attached side tube pushes the extractor into the space of the extraction tube for analytical determination. It can be used for environmental analysis. EN 264 162 Wh

The invention relates to a device for separating a thin layer of an extractor.
When analyzing trace concentrations of substances dissolved in water, it is often necessary to extract these substances with a small amount of extender. When the extractant is easier than water and a separating funnel is used for extraction, a small amount of the extractant forms a thin film on the surface of the surface, which can only be separated from the extracted liquid. Another possible solution is a narrow-necked extraction vessel that works by extracting an extracted solution through the throat, after the liquid stratification, which extrudes the thin film of the extractor into the tapered portion of the throat, is sucked into the syringe or micropipette and further processed . The disadvantage is the filling and emptying of the container. Progress is a two-necked container where one neck is narrow and the other is wider - side-to-side of a molten container for supplying extracted liquid which, after stratification, expels the extractant into a narrow neck. The common drawback of both solutions is the moisture of the walls in the tapered portion of the neck and talk of the possibility of mechanical entrainment of the water droplets when extracting the extract and problems of handling such as pouring water through the neck or the need for two throats in the last process.
These drawbacks are largely eliminated by the thin film extractor separator of AO No. 215 680, which is attached to the neck of the extraction bank and consists in that it consists of a tube with a spherical guillotine expanded into a phase separator, vertically terminating with a thin tube for extraction of the extractant preferably calibrated and with an obliquely attached side tube a medicament terminated for the entry of an inert or extracted liquid in a glassed-in guide. Extracted or inert liquid, after being added to the extraction flask through an obliquely attached side tube, expels the extractor into the extraction tube tube for analytical evaluation, e.g., by gas chromatography. A drawback of this device is that when the extracted or inert liquid is poured through the obliquely attached side tube, the layer of the extender is mechanically broken and its re-creation is time-consuming.
