Abstract
Řešení se zabývá způsobem úpravy plynné směsi kyslíku a vodíku vedené ke spalování, jejíž cílem je zabránit oxidač nímu účinku plamene. Směs kyslíku a vodíku získaná elektrolýzou sestávající se z obou plynů ve stechiometrickém poměru proudí při teplotě 0 až 80 °C vrstvou kapalného uhlovodíku o bodu tuhnutí menším než 0 °C a teplotě bodu varu větším než 80 °C.The solution deals with a method of treating a gaseous mixture of oxygen and hydrogen for combustion, the aim of which is to prevent the oxidizing effect of the flame. The mixture of oxygen and hydrogen obtained by electrolysis, consisting of both gases in a stoichiometric ratio, flows at a temperature of 0 to 80 °C through a layer of liquid hydrocarbon with a freezing point less than 0 °C and a boiling point greater than 80 °C.
Description
Vynález se týká způsobu úpravy plynné směsi kyslíku a vodíku vedené ke spalování.The invention relates to a method for treating a gaseous mixture of oxygen and hydrogen to be incinerated.
When oxygen and hydrogen are combusted in contact with the atmosphere, atmospheric oxygen is also involved in the chemical reaction of the combustion, so that the oxidative effect of the flame is not prevented by keeping the stoichiometric amount of both gases. The two gases are fed separately to the burner, the supply of hydrogen above the stoichiometric amount can be increased and the effect of atmospheric oxygen is partially reduced within the flame. However, there is an uneven consumption of both gases and therefore this method is not applicable to the combustion of gas directly from the generators.
Výše uvedené nedostatky odstraňuje způsob podle vynálezu týkající se úpravy plynné směsi kyslíku a vodíku vedené ke spalování. Podstata spočívá v tom, že směs kyslíku a vodíku proudí při teplotě 0 až 80 °C vrstvou kapalného hořlavého uhlovodíku o budu tuhnutí menším než 0 °C a bodu varu větším než 80 °C.The above-mentioned drawbacks are overcome by the process according to the invention concerning the treatment of a gaseous mixture of oxygen and hydrogen to be incinerated. The principle is that the oxygen-hydrogen mixture flows at a temperature of 0 to 80 ° C through a layer of liquid flammable hydrocarbon with a freezing point of less than 0 ° C and a boiling point of greater than 80 ° C.
The flow of the oxygen-hydrogen mixture through the liquid flammable hydrocarbon layer releases vapors, which are entrained and carried further to the burner. Due to the enrichment of the gas mixture with the liquid hydrocarbon vapor, a reducing flame is obtained during combustion.
