Doteraz známe zariadenie zhfňač nakladač rieši problém manipulácie s medzipaletami len vo vertikálnom smere pohybu s mechanickým vyhfňaním a nahřňaním obrobkov v jednej horizontálnej rovině. Vyhfňanie obrobkov z medzipalety, resp. ich nahřňanie na medzipaletu je riešené zložitým mechanicko-hydraulickým systémom a oběžnými dopravníkmi. Riadenie činnosti zariadenia si vyžaduje množstvo snímacích prvkov jeho stavu a polohy obrobkov s požiadavkov na vysoké technické parametre riadiaceho systému. Nevýhodou uvedeného zariadenia je zvýšená časová náročnost na výměnu medzipaliet, vysoké náklady na výrobu, prevádzku a údržbu, ktoré spolu s oběžnými dopravníkmi kladů vysoiké nároky na výrobně plochy.
