Abstract
Composite material is created on based on particles of plant origin, in particular bonded wood chips. The essence of the invention is that it is compressed the particles are bonded on a base binding basis resoles containing furylaldehyde. The binder may contain furyldehyde with phenol or with urea and an acid catalyst. The main purpose of the invention is to eliminate it from the hitherto used health binders harmful formaldehyde.
Description
Vynález se týká kompozitního materiálu na bázi částic rostlinného původu, zejména dřevěných třísek, navzájem spojených.The invention relates to a composite material based on particles of vegetable origin, in particular wood chips, connected to each other.
Composite materials of these raw materials, in particular wood fibers, shavings, shavings, sawdust, etc., are still produced by mixing the dried and hydrophobized parts with various thermosetting binders, in particular with urea-formaldehyde resin, and subsequently compressing the mixture at temperatures above 130 ° C to the desired molds, especially in the form of plates. These hitherto known composite materials are produced in large quantities and in many variations, differing from each other in the type of feedstock used, in the binder and compression pressures and temperatures used. Their common disadvantage is the long-term leakage of fission products of resin binder, in particular formaldehyde, urea oligomer with formaldehyde, or phenol, which have carcinogenic or other adverse metabolic effects on the human body. Recently, these materials have in particular become particle board increasingly used as a raw material for the construction of residential buildings, so that this disadvantage of the known composite materials becomes very pronounced. In these constructions, various measures must prevent the entry of fission products into the interior of buildings, which increases construction costs.
Další nevýhodou těchto známých kompozitních materiálů je složitost jejich výrobního procesu, vyvolaná zejména nezbytností přes239 519 ného dodržování technologického postupu, které je nutné pro dosaženi požadované kvality výrobků; proto u těchto materiálů není možné dosáhnout vyšší produktivity výroby zkrácenim výrobního cyklu. V průběhu výrobního procesu, zejména při lisováni, se uvolňují z Lisovaného materiálu škodlivé reakční splodiny ve velikých koncentracích a s vysokým obsahem formaldehydú·A further disadvantage of these known composite materials is the complexity of their manufacturing process, due in particular to the need for over-compliance with the technological process necessary to achieve the desired product quality; therefore, it is not possible to achieve higher production productivity in these materials by shortening the production cycle. During the manufacturing process, especially during the molding process, harmful reaction fumes are released from the molded material in high concentrations and high in formaldehyde.
These drawbacks are overcome by a composite material according to the invention consisting of particles of plant origin bonded together with a cured resol binder, characterized in that the resol binder is a resol on the furylaldehyde condensate myth and one or more of phenol, furyl alcohol. and urea, wherein the binder is cured in particular with an acid catalyst.
The basic advantage of the composite material according to the invention is that the binder does not contain harmful formaldehyde, but furylaldehyde, which, when crosslinked to a polymeric form, has adverse effects on the human body. Furylaldehyde is very similar in nature to plant particles because it can be obtained by acid hydrolysis of wood and similar materials containing lignocellulosic substances.
An exemplary composition of the composite material of the invention is shown in the following four examples.
