Účelom vynálezu je umožnit zmenšeme spotřeby paliva spalovacích motorov najma automobilov. Uvedeného účelu sa dosiahne zapojením ukazovateia stavu paliva k meraniu podtlaku v sacom potrubí motorov tak, že k ukazovatelu stavu paliva, t. j. palivomeru, ktorý má na obr. vzťahovú značku (3), je prepínačom (6) alternativně připojitelný buď vysielač (1) k meraniu stavu paliva, alebo vysielač (2) k meraniu velkosti podtlaku, ktorý je snímaný snímačom (7) v sacom potrubí motora. Vodič má jazdiť tak, aby pri zachování plynulosti jazdy udržiaval podtlak na čo najvyššej hodnotě, čo sa prejaví najma v mestskej premávke menšou spotřebou paliva. Stav paliva možno overiť přepnutím prepínača (6), pričom minimálna rezervná hladina je nepřetržíte kontrolovaná žiarovkou (4). The light bulb (5j signals to the driver (peripherally visible) by lighting up that the vacuum has dropped below the limit corresponding to economical driving. Located on the dashboard, it informs the driver even in difficult traffic situations.
