Vynález se týká přípravy tvarově složitých metalografických vzorků uložených v pryskyřičném přípravku. The invention relates to the preparation of complex metallographic samples embedded in a resin composition.
Tři stlačování změklého prášku do dutin a nerovností vzorků vznikají^nehomogenní tlaková pole uvnitř polotekuté pryskyřice i vzorku, která často vzorek deformují. Kromě toho dutiny a (póry vzorku se pryskyřicí zaplňují pouze nedokonale a nedociluje se dokonalého přilnutí vzorku k pryskyřici.Metallographic samples are usually embedded in liquid self-setting acrylic or methacrylate type resins prepared from powder and liquid. Solidification takes place cold or at slightly elevated temperatures. In other cases, metallographic samples are baked into similar acrylate or methacrylate resins. In this case, the samples are surrounded by powdered resin and then heated with the mold to about 100 ° C, when the powder softens, the sample and the resin are compressed and after further heating to about 140 ° C and cooling to room temperature the sample is ready for metallographic preparation. cutting, grinding and polishing. Three compressions of the softened powder into the cavities and the unevenness of the samples give rise to inhomogeneous pressure fields inside the semi-liquid resin and the sample, which often deform the sample. In addition, the cavities and (the pores of the sample are only imperfectly filled with resin, and perfect adhesion of the sample to the resin is not achieved.
These disadvantages are overcome by the method of preparing metallographic samples, in which the sample is cast with a liquid resin of the acrylate or methacrylate type according to the invention. The principle of the invention is that after resin embedding the resin is compressed and cured at a temperature of 120 to 160 ° C.
The method of preparation of metallographic samples according to the invention achieves that the resin perfectly fills the pores in the sample, adheres well to its surface. Another advantage is that even complicated specimens retain their shape under pressure.
Způsobem podle vynálezu byly příkladně připraveny příčné metalografické výbrusy pěti na sebe položených vzorků smaltovaných plechů. Mezi jednotlivými plechy byla mezera 0,5 mm. Smícháním prášku a tekutiny metakrylátu v poměru 2 í 1 při teplotě 20 °CBy the method according to the invention, cross-sectional metallographic cuts of five superimposed samples of enamelled sheets were prepared by way of example. The gap between the sheets was 0.5 mm. Mixing the 2-L methacrylate powder and liquid at 20 ° C
A liquid resin was obtained. After pouring the specimens with liquid methacrylate resin at 20 ° C cold into the metal mold, the resin was compressed in a press at a pressure of 100 kg / em. After heat curing of the resin at 150 ° C, metallographic cuts were prepared in a conventional manner, ie ground and polished.
Obdobným způsobem byly připraveny výbrusy dutých elektrotech nických součástek po předchozím předřížnutí dutiny, např. u tranzistorů.In a similar way, cuts of hollow electrical components were prepared after previous cavity pre-cutting, eg in transistors.
The method of preparing metallographic samples according to the invention is suitable for articulated samples requiring a homogeneous pressure field in resin form, such as samples of electrical components, hollow or porous ceramic preparations and other shapes.
