Vynález sa týká spósobu úpravy uhlia a nerastovflotáciou, s použitím nového flotačného činidlapodlá čs. autorského osvedčenia č. 205 769, při-praveného z vedlajších produktov oxyetylácie al-koholov. Úprava uhlia a rúd flotáciou patří medzi najefek-tívnejšie úpravnické procesy, ktorými sa uhlie,najma pre výrobu koksu, ako aj rudy, zbavujúmenejcenných zložiek, hlušiny. Flotačný proces jecharakterizovaný druhom a množstvom dávkova-ného činidla a spósobom jeho dávkovania doflotácie a flotačným časom, s ktorým úzko súvisívýkon flotačného zariadenia a ekonomika celéhoprocesu.
